Everyone says I should break things up with him?

I’m dating an older guy ( I’m 24 he’s 32) and we r really into each other, but all my friends and family thinks that it’s inappropriate and i should break up with him.. they say that it’s not that huge of gap in theory but it a HUGE mental gap, and I honestly don’t see it. Yes he’s mature and settled but thats one of the things i love about him.. i used to ignore these things but now they r getting into his nerves as they don’t welcome him as much as they should when we come over. I don't know i feel like they r being unreasonable

If he makes you happy then stay and ignore everyone else. I met my wife when she was 23 and I was 34. And we have been together for 17 years
