Did he cheat on the night out?

My s/o went out and I haven’t seen him all weekend. He lost his phone and had no way of contacting me. The friend he went out with messaged me this morning asking if he had his keys. A few hours later I asked his friend if he’s seen my so. My so came over and all he did was sleep. When he finally woke up ans we spent a hour or so together and before we were going to bed and going to have sex he said he needed to get a shower. He always gets one after so why did he need too before. Am I over thinking or is it a sign he cheated. His beard also smelt fragrant and I’ve never noticed that before.

I asked. I did sugar coat it a little bit. He didn’t really say anything about the points I brought up he just said. Don’t start accusing me of things now :/. He hasn’t give me reason to not believe but my gut isn’t 100% sure

Accusing and asking are 2 different things. He’s gaslighting you. If your isn’t 100 percent that he’s telling the truth then he most likely isn’t and you need your space. A man will lie to you in your face like it’s nothing it’s always up to you to decide if you believe him or not
