Is it possible for a long term relationship to work if you have a higher body count?

Lately I’ve been seeing several tiktoks with comments talking about how marriages will always fail if you two aren’t virgins and all that. My current boyfriend has only been with one other girl (she wasn’t a virgin) and I’ve been with 7 guys… I’m not here to be shamed for my past I’ve changed my ways and converted to a religious path and traditional values, I had a lot of mental health struggles in the path that I had to be medicated for to regulate. I’ve never cheated or been unfaithful in relationships either. Is it possible for our relationship to work out long term? We both want to marry and have children fairly young and I want to teach my children to not do the same as I did and save themselves. My advice would be to not make NEW Male friends, and not post provocative pictures online for attention from others. You having never cheated is a good sign though, so you do have that positive going for you.

My partner now had sex with his ex girlfriend and we hooked up before we started dating several months ago. I haven’t made any new make friends and I’m more conservative especially now so all my pictures are fully clothed and modest. Before I had a few casual hookups since I felt it’s the only way I’d be accepted/feel loved, I haven’t dated many people but the first was great but we are different races so it didn’t work out family wise (we never had sex), the next was a bit abusive (didn’t take no for an answer), and the last one I found illegal nsfw things on his phone I won’t repeat on here… I’m not on I’ll terms with any of them but they are not in my life anymore.

Well it is true that statistically speaking, the lower the body count of the couple the higher the rate of marital satisfaction and the lower the rate of divorce, it is still possible for people with higher body counts to have a good marriage. Especially if both of you have chosen to turn to conservative and traditional values.

I think recent behavior is more indicative than overall body count. A lot of us experimented like crazy in our teens. In my area body counts of over 50 or 100 or more before graduating university are not uncommon. But if that behavior is years behind and recent activity has been "No sex till at least 90 days" or similar, then I would not worry.
