My opinion is that dating age gaps become less and less concerning the older you get. I also feel that the stage of life you are in and your experiences play a role. If a 30-year old were to date a 19-year old, while they are both legally adults that is something I would find very odd. But that’s just my opinion, I know some people don’t care.
I am going to tell you a story
I’m 31 years old it happened recently like 3 years ago
When I was 28 this guy was 3 years younger then me he was 25! Now I’m 31 he is 28! Back then I didn’t really like him but I found it interesting that when he was 25 he told me damn your 28! He thought that’s so old and that he couldn’t see us together.. even though he was so attracted to me ! and I was like aight..! ?
Now out of nowhere he is trying so hard to contact me and trying his best to talk with me. But I told him that I was initially never interested on him. I also told him I like old men.. lol and I do. As I said I’m 31 the guy I’m dating and getting to know atm is 37!!
He still messages me and I dot want to ghost him but o made it clear to him..
In my opinion when we are early 20s (me included ) men or women all humans in this world when they are early 20s they think 26+ your old af 30+ your about to die and can’t have kids. 40+ Wtf you still alive? 😂😭😂

At the end of the day people have to decide what’s okay and what’s not okay as long as there’s two adults involved but for me personally I prefer guys 18-34 as I do the 10 year rule not to go beyond but wouldn’t mind a younger or guy close to my age either if we hit it off but I can’t picture myself with someone twice my age, it’s too weird for me to be honest. I’ve dated guys of different ages tho such as 19, 21, 33, and 26 and I’m 24 right now, same thing will probably still apply even when I’m 25 if I’m still single lol.
From my research, it seems the most viable age gap is between 0-5 years for a successful relationship. Statistically up to 10 years difference is within the more likely than not to succeed range but once you go any higher the odds decrease more and more as the gap increases.
My ideal range right now at 37 is up to 8 years my junior (so 29 at the youngest) and 3 years my senior (so 40).
I currently am looking for a potential wife and want my own kids so ideally she’ll be under 35 but it’s possible to have kiddos later than that (and I’ve always been more attracted to older women).
What I think of It is simply non of my business who I’m I to set there and judge 2 human beings with all their life experiences and what brought them together and minimize them into a number and why. You think 11 years is a gap? I think a man should be at least 10 years older than a woman to be on the same level of maturity in order to communicate properly and give her the attention she needs.
Lucky for us a woman in her 20s dating the same age man is probably well equipped to handle some childish nonsense and a bit of arrogance until he is old enough to make it up but again what do I know. lol

I think your view of them can change as you get older. My personal opinion is that what two consenting adults do is up to them.
s My partner and I have a 9 year age gap, but we’re both on the same level, stage of life wise and emotional maturity wise too. I really don’t care what other people think, it’s not their relationship. I’m happy, he’s happy, we met when I was 20 and I wasn’t groomed, it’s not hurting anyone, and it’s been the healthiest and happiest relationship I’ve had.
I think emotional maturity and where someone is in life is what matters more than physical age, as long as both people are over 18 of course. My age preference has always been older than myself. Usually by 3-5 years. My partner is the exception to that. I’ve never felt a true connection with anyone close to my age, as most 18-22 years olds are still in their drinking/drugs/hookups phase, which really isn’t my kind of thing.

I feel that I wouldn't be able to date someone much older than me, for instance I couldn't date a 44 year old. It would make me feel uncomfortable and I know I'm not mature enough to be with someone that age. So, I'd rather date someone closer in age, my limit is between 27 and 33.
When I see a couple with a big age gap, I start wondering how do they feel, if they face any prejudice, how did they meet and if they're together for the right reasons. But of course, I'm not going to ask them anything, it would be rude. So I move on.
I think 10 years is the biggest gap you should have. My parents have a 6-year gap, and my girlfriend and I have a 5-year gap. If your age gap is more than 10 years, it isn't easy to connect on shared experiences. For example, everyone I know lived through 9-11. I was 10 when it happened. In other words, I understand what happened to the airports after it, because I was in airports before and after. It's odd for me to meet someone who has no memory of 9-11. My girlfriend's nieces and nephews have no recollection of it whatsoever because they weren't born yet. Her eldest niece was born seven years after it.
I frequently assert that age is merely a number. Whatever the gaps may be, we are out of it. We are just regular people in one relationship who are unsure of our dating preferences. youthful, wild, and unfettered.
Relationships vary based on the people and surroundings we are in. There are certain people who come and go, but nobody is incorrect for us. Just some people are fine with a 3 to 5 year age difference, while others are fine with the same.
And some prefer higher age gaps. Since they are more established and mature, I want gaps that are much higher. They probably have a successful career and plenty of life experience.
First of all I do not think it is up to anybody except the couple as long as they are adults.
Second though as far as my personal opinion, I agree that the older you are, the less age gaps matter. I am engaged and not on the market but my limits would be, 1. ideally young enough that I don't get bugged about it by my parents or friends which I think in my case would mean no older than 35 right now, 2. must be younger than my dad (who is 55).
The most interesting revelations of our societal extremities. A mirror of our societal weaknesses. How others perceive themselves upon others , around others , with others of different ages. The ultimate biases of others on a different playing field. The insecurity of themselves towards others older. The scope or idea of the life they may venture into with predetermined insecurity. or immaturity. But yet age has 0 bearing on anything period as two consenting adults can surely enjoy each other and they're companionship.
I remember being 25 with my first child and I refused to date a 19 year old, despite him being mature.
We met accidentally last year, and he’s 43. Now at 49 that’s no difference at all.
In my lifetime I’ve dated older and younger.
When I was younger I did. I once turned a woman down because there was a 4 yr. Age gap between us. That was dumb of me. She was a good woman. And good women are few in number. Life has taught me that. I don't really have age restrictions. But I do think generally speaking an age gap of 10 years. Or more it's very unlikely you'll be at the same point in life. So I don't really look outside of the 10 yr. Mark.
i often see this wide age gap in my country but only with foreigners. i just don't like my fellow Filipino women being taken advantage due to their economic status. i just wanna protect them. i don't mind datinh older people also i am an old woman
As long as both mature enough thats fine. but seeing 18/20 yo with 50 something is super creepy tbh. I think age gap is fine as long as one partner not older than the other partner mom or dad.
I’m 22. The youngest I would date is 21, the oldest probably 28.
I find it odd when 30+ men go for 18/19 year olds etc.
My husband is 35 years older than me. I’ve always preferred older men. I was 19 and he was 54 when we married. Now I’m 33 and he’s 68. We have six kids ages 13, 11, 9, 6, 4, and 2.
I'm good with most legal age gaps. I've certainly been attracted to older men at times, so I'm not sure why I would have a problem with it should they enjoy each other.
