Am I so bad that I can’t a girl who was into me?

There was one girl who liked me. Her friends were telling me this for months and one her friend from boarding school told me that she talks about me often. She was crushing on me long before we got to know each other. They sometimes told me that she was sad that i didn't pay much attention to her and stuff. After some time we got closer. Since then always when we met we kissed and hugged. Then I asked her out and she said yes. Her friends were really happy for her. Before we went out we make out two times. But then her friends told me that she is complicated and they are confused of her. Also that night she was all the time with girls and it felt like I am not even there. She still agreed to go out so we went. Then when i asked her out for second date she said she is busy. I dont know what I did wrong. I honestly thought it is sure we will be together cuz things were looking really well. Am i that bad that i can't even get a girl who liked me for so long?
