I am a woman in my late 20s and after 2 years of being single I have decided to try online dating. Is it worth it? I have friends, but somehow pandemic changed us all and we go out less, work from home and my chances to meet new guys are pretty slim. So, I want to try bumble. Tinder did not work for me. Everyone wanted sex and only sex I mean, plus lots of fake profiles. I am really fed up with arrogant so called bad boys. Can you find down to earth guys there, maybe even a bit shy? I am not sure shy is the right word, but I am tired of playboys
The first thing you have to understand is online dating for guys. The simple truth is most women on dating websites are just window shopping. Most don't respond to messages. So any guy that is any kind of a veteran to online dating, knows it's an uphill battle. I personally will not message a woman first on online dating. And so they know this I even post it in my profile. I'm sure I turn some women off by saying this but I figure that the ones that message will be truly interested.
Yes hun, there are the guys you seek on online dating but they are few in number because they quickly realize they're dealing with the same problem you are. But the women version of it.

Obviously there is major differences between genders in dating apps. So I can only give one perspective.
I think it takes a lot of time and patience. Most guys in general aren’t as passionate about love and a true deep relationship (which I think is sad). So no matter if it’s in real life, dating apps, etc, you have to cut through that to find someone special.
Overall tho, if you’re patient, I truly do believe it’s possible to find someone special on dating apps.
Bumble has rich kids who are fuck boys, nice guys who will want a friends with benefits situation. They’re not as brash and vulgar as guys on tinder, they’ll commit to you as a side piece lol. Hinge has guys that would want a relationship and to go on actual dates

Probably your best option: Get a dog, or borrow a dog. Take the dogs on walks all over, especially to dog parks. Dog guys are good guys, almost 100% of the time.
Or, you can try going to places where you will find guys. Or, maybe you want to try dating girls. There are LOTS of people who are really bisexual, or even gay, who don't realize that about themselves.
God created Our Universe with Love and Free Will. Use your Free Will to Love!I can't speak for women's experiences in online dating but for men it's nothing but catfishing and ghosting.
I gave up as a guy... And girls seem to have it even harder.
Have you tried to get to know guys on social media like this one?
