Should I be upset about the picture or is it not that big of a deal and I should let it go?

Today I was looking through old pictures that my boyfriend sent me about 9 months ago. I think he may have lied to me about one of the pictures. When you first meet someone new you have a lot of conversations that happen quickly and one of those conversations was about one of his exs. He told me that he went to Boston with his ex Amy in like 2016. Today I look at the picture and it says the picture was taken Nov 13, 2021 At that time he was not with Amy he was with Tanya. I remember he told me in a conversation that his most recent ex Tanya had moved away in the beginning of 2021 or end of 2020 because they broke up but remained friends but she came back up in Nov 2021 and they hung out and it was more of a goodbye thing. This all happened before me, I didn't know him until March 2022. Maybe it's not a big deal but I'm wondering did he lie about who and when he went to Boston and if so why? Did he get the date and people confused? Should I ask him why he lied about it or just let it go because it was before me and doesn't matter? Also do ex's do stuff like that, take a trip together as a final goodbye?

Interesting, I never did nothing like that and thought it was weird. Just like I think being friends with exs is weird and problematic but I know everyone is different. Thank you for your input and advice.
