I been chatting with a girl every single day now for a month. She just joined my workplace 2 months ago. She spoke to me first. Everyday she would spark the convo up. I tried to figure out if she had a boyfriend but she doesn't mention anything or quickly changes he topic, and looks down. I just wanted to see if she was single. She would also never text me but always responded to my texts in person and i called her out on that she said something like oh it's easier in person. over a week ago i sent her a text (i should of said it in person) saying literally this exact thing. "Hey, after work on Friday let's grab some food, i can find a place for us". Ever since that text she ignored me for 2 straight days, looks down when i walk near her. Only a little but ago she started saying "hi" and super small talk. Its very very awkward.
Last Thursday i did overhear her say to someone that infact she is in a relationship and she hates it. Does this play any role or part in it? I just want to say when it was only us two together at the place i work she is way different. She was more open to me, talked 90% of the time, and said things in my opinion which a person who has a boyfriend would not say to someone else. I honestly feel disrespected and don't know what to do.
