Our conversation is going good and we both confessed that we think about and miss each other. Till I asked him if we should give our relationship another shot. That he told me “No, just go live your life and be happy. That’s my wish to you.”

I mean why contact me and say you miss me only to push me away?

I really need a male perspective here to understand this tug and pull situation when it comes to a relationship. Especially a ex relationship.

Has anyone been in a similar situation as this? If so, please explain and help me understand this.

Sounds toxic to me honestly. I honestly got nothing for you on this one.

I personally have exs that I would try to date again, but I know it would never work out. But it was fun the first time, and I think it would be the fun the second, but just like the first time the second would end the same way. It was fun until it wasn't.

Would I reach out to her and do that mind screw bullshit on her? NO
