AM I wrong for getting upset over his lack of commitment?

Boyfriend promised to call me today, considering I’ve been crazy busy with college and work and mondays are the only days I have available. He doesn’t work or study, he games all day. He promised he would call me today so we could spend some time together, since I couldn’t drive to meet up with him. He was asleep all day, while I cancelled my plans just so I could talk to him. I waited for him to get up since 9 am, and he got up at 8 pm. I can’t keep dealing with this anymore and I’m unsure what to do. I don’t wanna tell him that it makes me upset when he’s asleep all fucking day (which happens a lot) cause I don’t wanna look selfish. But I really wanted to call him today cause I miss him a lot.

You have the right to be upset, it sounds like you are putting him first even with being so busy and he isn't. He sounds like he doesn't have his life together. You shouldn't cancel your plans either because things like this happen and you could have been out and about having fun. He either needs to get it together or you can just walk away if you don't feel like he is prioritizing the relationship you have
