I met this guy last summer we actually became a couple in December. In January I had to go back and finish my last semester of my MS degree. We decided this 3-4 months until I come back in June we talk on the phone Skype etc. when I came back very suddenly he told me that
“ He found someone else he is starting to like and he has feelings for her and that he can’t deny his feelings “ he also asked if “ We can continue to be friends”
I said no to being friends and I accepted it gracefully I said that’s fine he found someone else it’s his choice. Even though I was extremely sad when he told me that. It was very hard to read the message and I couldn’t stop crying.
And he said ok I understand you don’t want friendship. And that’s it. No more messages or talking.
Because he messaged me all of this new things happening I did initially asked him to meet and talk but he said— he feels uncomfortable to meet.
I don’t know how to handle all this pain at early 30s. I am a good women but I don’t know in this day and age how to find a good men who wants a family and stay together. I don’t know what I did wrong.. it’s very painful. That I can’t take it anymore..
I also have this denial he will be back and contact me but eventually he won’t.. how to handle this pain
