I fell in love once and only once, and she's the only girl I'll ever love. But now I'm infatuated with someone for the first time, and I can definitely see how people can mistake this for love. I feel like a little girl getting a pony for her birthday lol

Yes and no... so to me Lust is what fuels infatuation and infatuation becomes love. Think of it like this...

Lust is a water, infatuation is the seed, and love is the flower. We all like flowers, right? So as a man, have you ever dated a woman you did not have some degree of lust for, have you ever been in a committed relationship with some degree of infatuation? Have you ever loved a woman, that you were not completely infatuated with and definitely had lust for?

Seed + Water = equal's flower. Infatuation + Lust = Love. The problem here is that, a seed is just a seed, unless you plant in the ground and water it... but the flower comes much later, but when it blossoms it is like the most beautiful flower ever! But it takes a lot of time and effort to get it right.

So yes, I have had some degree of love for every woman I have ever dated... but time and effort part to achieve the flower is where it all goes wrong.

I have a crush on this one guy. And it’s a major crush. It seems like he’s interested in me based off of him wanting to help me, his body language, and always picking me out of a group. He’s a terrible texter though! I don't know I don’t just want to ask him out over text but it’s been a little over a month since I’ve seen him last. But I did text him last week for help on a test.

First off I love how excited you seem to be to tell someone, it’s adorable. Second, I’ve only ever been in love with one guy and that was because he made me laugh really hard, was always kind to me and other people, and wasn’t put off by my weirdness, quirks, and dirty jokes.

I think when we get attracted to someone its called infatuation... Love is a Decision... a Decision you are willing to make... so if you are willing to work on those Emotions you are feeling for a specific one it's more likely that you can fall in love with her or him... but here it depends if you are attracted towards just their face or their personality traits🙃...
