my boyfriend had asked me to throw just a few shirts of his in with my laundry since he knew I was about to do it the next day while he was working. I ended up putting it off until the evening and then when I did the wash cycle, there was a lot of water in the washing machine which I have not ever dealt with and I assumed that since it wasn't soapy water that the clothes washed but didn't spin for some reason, so I put them into the dryer. It was after drying I realized they smelled still, then it dawned on me that I made a mistake and the washer actually probably stopped working a lot earlier and never washed the clothes. By this point the laundry room was closed and I was not able to redo the laundry. I told my boyfriend I am sorry but I did not get your clothes cleaned because the machine did not work and I did not realize until it was too late and he got PISSED not about the fact that his clothes werent clean, but he said he was mad at me "trying to bullshit him" and he emphasized "not that you could bullshit me cus you can't, but I'm mad that you tried to bullshit me" so I asked him wtf he meant and he said he was mad rather than 'just take responsibility' and say sorry it was my fault I ended up he said trying to convince him it wasn't my fault. this made no sense to me cus from my perspective i was honestly just trying to explain why the clothes werent washed so that he knew I cared and did try to do it but messed up so they didn't get cleaned, he kept insisting I was 'bullshitting him' and demanding an apology. does this sound normal to you, was I in the wrong?

You know, you could have avoided the whole issue if you just told him that his clothes didn't get washed and you'll do them tomorrow. Trying to explain what happened is not important, and looks like you're trying to put the blame somewhere other than yourself... that's what a typical guy would think.
So No, he doesn't have any issues, just pissed that his clothes didn't get washed after you said you would wash them
Depending on where you live, and how large your city is, you may be able to find a submissive male maid who will gladly clean your house and do all of your household chores free of charge. I've served several women and couples that way.
