She's going through stuff - told her I am here if she needs to talk/anything and she sent me "💖" should I send one back, or leave it at that?

Feeling very elementary school here so i apologize..

Long story short, she's got Social anxiety and dealing with stuff. She's been in a mood for a while but made it through another tough spot.

Anyway - told her I am here for her etc, and if she needs space and whatnot I understand to take all the time she needs. I am here to help when she is ready (she's not much to talk about feelings and I understand since I am the same way)

Anyway- she responded to all that with a 💖. Should I send one back? I wasn't planning on it, since she already knows I told her I am here for her. My own anxiety tells me id feel stupid doing that because she isn't in the mood/mental space to talk Anyway, but I told her I am here already.

But as someone prob like her don’t overwhelm us. But flip side, we are crazy sensitive.

Yeah I left it at that. Before she sent me that heart thing I told her if she needs space take the time she needs and I am here for her.

Going to reach out to her in a day or 2 (it would be 3-4 days after we last spoke).

She has social anxiety/going through a depression phase now.

You sound like you’re handling it perfectly. My wife sensitive to my anxiety, but im also fiercely in her corner. We’re like guard dogs in that respect.

From the limited stuff I know, she does seem to like you, so keep it cool like you are and let things progress naturally. We anxiety ridden love it when the ball is in our court, so saying let’s get lunch sometime next week and letting her pick the time would be a good strategy.
