Should we start again?

Hey so a little back story my ex and I been on and off for 4 years we was toxic many people said we were just so young and wasn't ready for a relationship we met at 18 and 19. last year he took my virginity and eventually I called the quits. after over a year has passed I never moved on and we eventually reconnected and he hasn't moved on either. we both talked things out he admitted his wrongs and I have to he asked could we start again please he afraid to make a fuck up again and lose me so he changed. literally y'all his actions is worrying me cause that heartbreak I had I just feel like yes he changed but is it temporary or is he trying to change for real. when he finally lost me he told me that what hurt him the most and I told him before you refused to change and he apologized for it all. he wants to start again. he still have feelings for me and he missed me so much. I want to say yes and I already know set boundaries and be more vocal with my feelings. I just need another opinion should we try again? Is it worth a shot? (Guys I'm asking y'all only because females all of them said he didn't love me he a toxic guy fuck toxic guys while other males responded with we were just young and we are inlove just not ready for a commitment. Now that we are more older and mature can you guys understand and maybe relate if so please tell me any advice I'm taking it all)

It's hard to say really without knowing why you broke up in the first place other then hike being toxic that could be so many different things😅 I would need clarification really if it was abusive or anything like that in anyway I say run far away. But if it was just both of your inexperience with relationships and he just hadn't matured enough to be in a relationship. I would take it very slowly! So you can gauge where he is at now just a few dates maybe dont have sex with him! Unless your fully convinced he has changed and that could take a while to be honest depending on the situation it's hard for me to say😅

Honestly I didn't even have to go into details I was afraid of this comment right here... I think it's best I should run away it wasn't physical abuse it just one day to started to go south and he started to become more aggressive towards me to when he actually hit me I was like yeah if I don't go it just gonna get worse from here and he did something petty out of jealousy which made me say okay fucker enough is enough he mentally destroyed me and honestly part of me just wants to see just maybe maayybbbeee it will be different I obviously still love him but if I have to leave then I gotta put the big girl panties on and i want to feel that love again but I rather not feel that type of pain again anyways

Yeah it sounds like your best getting far away from them, you want to experience true love not that rubbish and your 23 you have a lot of time to find what true love actually is because that ain't it, young inexperienced with a lack of understanding of what true love really is just move on with your life you'll be better off that's for sure.
