What type of underwear should I wear for my first date with her?

Okay so I'm at 57 retired from the military single recently started dating again. But my questions everyone is if I'm a man that likes to wear thongs. Would it be wrong to wear a thong on my first date. I mean I want to be who I am I'm not sure how she would feel. Some people view it as taboo. But I don't so what is your thoughts

in my opinion I wouldn’t wear a thong on the first date.. maybe later when your 3rd date in, you could wear it or introduce it to her and just explain how you like wearing them etc. but again in my opinion I think it would make me uncomfortable or awkward if I knew that on the first date.
