Should I stay or should I go?

I have little money for gas to see my boyfriend and the money in my savings is strictly for rent. It's money I don't touch usually but I want to see him so bad and he received negative Covid test results yesterday. But just because he's cleared for Covid now, doesn't mean I can't contract it after he was positive once this week for it.

His roommates also don't particularly care for me because of something I did to him that caused us to break up once and I will have to explain to them why I did what I did which I don't really particularly feel like doing.

So I have three dilemmas. He lives two hours away also.

I'm torn on whether I should go or not but if I don't go, it'll be another month before I see him again. 😔

I ended up going and I had a good time. It was much needed. I'm glad I chose to go despite the dilemmas. He was so worth seeing.

I've decided to go. I will recoup the money by doing some side jobs like doordash. I can't stand not seeing him. When we talked on the phone last night, I realized how much I really really really miss him and I just can't go another month without seeing him.

Baby your priorities is fucked. Yes you can recoup the money but was he willing to come see you? If you have to decide on if you want to pay rent over getting gas to drive to see him…maybe you need to be single.

@zariahdp yes he was willing to come see me. It just so happened that things came up and he wasn't able to make the trip. It's not like he's never not made the trip for me. He's done so many times. It was my turn to come down anyways. It's only a hundred I have to recoup. That's not much.

Well in his defense he would if we didn't live two hours away and he has a very demanding job that makes him busy a lot. This weekend he was going to see me but he had something come up that's requiring him to stay there but he said I could come see him if I wanted.
