He chose someone who lives out of state over me. Should I cut contact or is it ok to remain friends?

Guy I was spending time with aka being friends with benefits told me he met someone while traveling. This woman lives out of state, is still married, and has kids!!

Supposedly her husband is a horrible person and she needs to leave him but that’s a whole another story.

So I told this guy we can’t have add anymore. He’s with someone now and I can’t be a third wheel.

Would it make more sense to cut all contact or is it ok to be friends?

If you aren’t getting what you are looking for out of the situation , it’s best to cut contact. He clearly put you in the fuck zone
