What ''Little things'' mean the most to you in a relationship?

When we think of love and happy relationships, it’s often the big occasions and grand gestures that come to mind. Celebrating occasions like birthdays and anniversaries with one’s partner can be fun and exciting. Performing grand romantic gestures like gifting them something expensive, whisking them off on holiday, or treating them to a fancy meal can surprise and delight them.

However, in long-term relationships, it’s often the little things that matter most. The small, everyday acts of caring and the simple but sincere words of love and support can play a big part in ensuring happiness and well-being.

I can name a bunch, but I'll name a few. The love and care he shows through out the day, calling and/or texting throughout the day to check on you, the meaningful I love yous, cuddling and being affectionate (physical touch is my love language) especially when having a bad day and all you wanna do is be with them, let them comfort you and they give you the reassurance you need, showing you they're there for you no matter what, forgive each other no matter how big or small the argument or disagreement is, being supportive and helping each other out like at work if you work together, at home getting things done, in the kitchen cooking or baking something, etc. So yes, it's the little things that matter in a relationship 💖 But that's all I'm gonna name for you.

Little things generally apply to things that require forethought. For example getting your lady a bouquet of flowers or getting her a box of chocolates. Could be even simpler if she mentions she needs to go somewhere offer to bring her. Bake her some cookies or cook her favorite dish. If she has an important meeting or appointment set an alarm for it if you live together. The number of 'little things' could go on forever. I think you get the idea though

I totally agree that little things show more love and thoughtfulness than grand gestures.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a few years and there's a few things we do to show love. For example, we'll take turns topping up each other's water/drink bottles, surprise each other with a favourite drink, or tidy up the space for the other person.

Recently he surprised me after my last final with a small bouquet and my favourite smoothie. All the small things make us feel loved and connected.

I'm very simple. Touches like caressing my arm/shoulder when trying to support me or when walking past me really make me feel cared about. Him taking me into his arms for a hug while kissing me or my hair... really these simple things do a lot to me. ^^

whats a relationship? 50% or more marriages end in divorce, girls/women love to cheat nowadays for the dick prize trophy on her friend's bedroom dresser and guys who have this stupid alpha male approach to show off and tell guys on social media what defines you as a guy is to have expensive cars, a big mansion and 50 women all over you every night. I don't trust women, I don't trust girls, I think pursuing women is a death sentence for your heart, just like it's a death sentence to fight in a world war. Fighting a world war is equivalent to pursuing women. That will be my philosophy for the rest of my life. Women are liars and manipulators that's how I will define them. I won't compliment them on their beauty, I won't say they are smart, I won't say I respect them. It's all over.
