How much of a red flag is a woman who’s never been in a relationship but had a lot of “situationships”?

If you don’t know, a situationship is basically a talking stage that never goes anywhere but likely progresses past just talking. Like an unofficial boyfriend/girlfriend

I know a woman who’s told me she’s had one boyfriend (she’s 22 and very attractive) and a ton of situationships but she blames it on the guys never wanting to label it

I find this fairly hard to believe but I want gold thoughts

If by "progresses past just talking" means "progresses into intimacy", then it's a red flag the size of the Soviet banner on the top of the Reichstag. She's most likely incapable of deep bonds due to the exhaustion of her hormone system. Unless You are fine to enter yet another "situationship" with her, knowing what it will mean for You.

Well... If what You want is another "situationship" with Her (no feelings, no deep bond), it's fine, otherwise it's a red flag the size of the Soviet banner on the top of the Reichstag. Whether She realizes it or not, several "situationships" like that will exhaust Her hormone system. It means Her oxitocin and endorphines generation will be severely limited, thus no deep bond will be able to be formed with Her for biological reasons. Whether it can be formed on a rational level... I don't think it's going to be this kind of relationship. Friendship might be possible, anything more than that is highly unlikely.

Given her age, I wouldn't view that information, in itself, as a red flag. She's young and still in the beginning stage of life. I give her credit for being out there trying. In the process, she is gaining experience, knowledge and wisdom.

I wouldn't have a problem if she had sex in some of those "situationships". Again, that's part of growing up.

And if the problem is that guys won't commit, that's not unusual, either, at that age.

It’s pretty common these days. I wouldn’t say it’s a red flag depending on their age. I’ve met women and men who’ve never had relationships, but had situationships. They’ve all been young-mid 20’s though. I think that if you’re in your late 20’s or early 30’s and you’ve still had no relationships and only had situationships, then it’s a little concerning.
