My boyfriend said that he had unprotected sex without birth control or even attempting to pull out and his first girlfriend never got pregnant in the 2 years they were together. He said that his next girlfriend did get pregnant but he found out she was cheating on him and that he wasn't sure if it was his child or the other man's so she ended up getting an abortion. I know the best way to know is to go to a doctor but just from that information does it sound like he can't have kids?
I wouldn't wanna jump to any conclusions based on that alone. There's a few things it could mean:
- His sperm count could be lower than average, so his chances of getting a girl pregnant any one time might not be super high. But it's still definitely possible over many tries.
- Could also just be luck of the draw. Even if everything's working normally, birth control isn't 100%. They may have just gotten lucky not getting pregnant those times.
- The girl cheating kinda throws a wrench in things. Who knows if she was actually pregnant by him or someone else.
- Stress, diet, smoking, weight - all sorts of lifestyle things can temporarily lower a guy's fertility too without meaning he can never have kids.
If it was me, I wouldn't worry just yet. But might be worth checking in with a doctor just to ease your mind. They can do some basic tests to check his levels and stuff. Rather know for sure than wonder, if kids might be in the future plans. As long as everything checks out okay, I wouldn't read too much into those past experiences alone. Stay positive til you get the facts!

you can't be sure of any of this...
you can't be sure if he is not fertile, you can't be sure if the girlfriend was the not fertile... you can't even be sure if he said the truth about his sexual past
whatever this might sound is just an assumption
It’s not enough evidence to be 100% certain I feel like it’s a 60/40 split so definitely go to the doctor to confirm bc it could all be coincidence
The women might have been cycle tracking or taking plan b. He could easily still be fertile

Still inconclusive, it's possible the first girlfriend just isn't likely to get pregnant.
I had a previous partner that was told her obgyn that chances were low, but she still got an IUD.
That cannot be concluded from the limited information provided. Get the ovulation app and try to get pregnant, you'll know soon enough
He can probably have kids.
