I have autism and learning disabilities so I couldn’t pass school. I’m Currently living off of benefits while living with my dad. I am 25. I am weak physically sorta because of medical conditions i was born with! I can’t help the condition i’m in. And I can’t work because of it so being a house husband seems to be my only option in life. Which doesn’t seem so bad.
@IslaTheWitch Not currently. Too much going on at the moment to give a relationship the energy it would deserve. I meet a lot of women at the charity races I do. Dozen or so have asked me out. I told them sure, as long as they understand I'm not dating now... blah blah blah. Works out well overall for now.
There’s lots of attention on this matter. If she makes $100k he wants to help. But if he makes $45k, he leaves it to her.

So pretty much zero men I know want this. But and even bigger issue is that pretty much zero women are interested in a man like this. So that's why you don't see it too much.
Let me put it a different way, I work 60 hours per week on average. The house work my wife does daily, i can bust out in about an hour. What the hell am i supposed to do with the rest of my day?
this is 2024. men are already the bread owners and maintainers of the household. meanwhile, the wife is posting nudes on onlyfans to support her expensive shopping habits.
I don't think women respect or care for househusbands at all. Women even get turned off by a man doing housework. During uni , I cooked , cleaned for a girl while full time studying. She went for a older , rich guy with money and treat him like king. She treated me like crap. The guy does nothing.
One woman does not represent every woman... Her leaving for a guy with money doesn't mean she doesn't like a man who does chores. The phrase "choreplay" exists for a reason.
Later I have met plenty of women who only like men traditional minded men. They aren't in favour of men cooking for them wearing aprons. I have never actually seen a girl find cooking or chores doing guys attractive in reality. On the other hand , all of the men I have seen who are very successful with women never doing any housework or cooking ever. They could pull new girls almost every weak. The male friends that got married probably never cooked a single thing yet they got loving wives who do things for them. On the contrary I never had a girlfriend (the girl wasn't one , she told me she's going to date me), and girls say to me ,"guys like you are only good after thirty "🙂.

Some do, or at least accept it. If the wife's position generates significantly more than his can, it might make sense.

Not usually. Personally I'd be bored at home all day, even if I was busy.
Not me, I like to be out working, not home all day
Not for me at all. I love my job and profession
I did it for a couple months before. Wasn't that bad. Gave me more time to work on new recipes and garden. I liked making her lunch every day.
Don't you look for a girlfriend? :D

Not a chance. The only ones I know are miserable because of it.
It's an inversion of our natural state
It wouldn't bother me. It's not really a goal of mine, though. I have other things that I would like to do.

I would feel useless as a house husband. I am an IT Guy.. My skills would go to waste.

Weird, must be your community.
In traditional countries , that's the norm. Men are valued only by how much they can provide.
I don’t think it’s in a man’s nature to “want” to be a house husband lbs.
u mean being a dude who didn't make money at all and did those instead?
what a fuckin loser
I'm a stay at home dad.
I would rather hammer nails in my eyeballs.
Most don't in my experience
Not even in my dreams 😂😂😂
If the right woman would be I wouldn't mind, I might even enjoy it
