Guy friend is being too cold with me after I sent my vacation pics and I dont know why?

Guy friend had been sweet prior and helped me overcome my panic attacks and anxiety. He was very caring and helped me to be okay. He is also consistent in sending me messages asking how i am whenever I deactivate my fb.
He even created an excel showing the things i should eat or not eat.

I went on a vacation with another guy bestfriend for mental health and went to a resort. After I reactivated my fb, 30 minutes later the guy sent a message asking how i am. Because I was really busy, i sent him a message 6 hours later and told him my issues and also that i went surfing to overcome my issues/problems or destress.

At first he responded that it sounds good and that it'll help me destress but when i sent my pics. The pics only shows me. He did not comment at all on the pics and was brief on his responses to the other topics and sporadic on messaging. I admit i was sporadic on messaging too because i was traveling.

But lately he has been too sporadic with his messages, sending short messages, replying a day later or several hours and it's totally not him. We used to have a back and forth type of messaging so this is new.

I wonder if i could have upset him? But i dont think he should be upset. What do you think?

There's no such thing as "guy friends" - at least not with single men. You cannot be "just friends" with a man who isn't already in a happily committed relationship with someone. Your "friend" is attracted to you - that's why he gives you attention and care.

Now you took another guy with you on a fancy vacation, and posted pictures about it. You might just as well slapped the first guy across the face and kicked him in the balls. He's no longer your "friend" - not that he ever really was. What he really was was a guy hoping to have a relationship with you, and now he's not - you are dead to him.

In case no one explained this to you, I will: women want male attention, but male attention costs males a lot, in time, effort, and sacrifice. Men don't give their attention for free, and if it seems like they're giving it for free, it's because they're expecting to get something in return eventually. Often, they are hoping for casual sex, but sometimes they're hoping for a relationship. Either way, they're NEVER just doing it for free.

When you take attention from one man (at great expense from that man), and then you GIVE the rewards to another man, then you should expect your relationship with the first man is going to be over forever.
