What if your a bit of a nerd and I to gaming and always wanted to go to comicon but also introverted and wouldn’t go alone.

Your partner hates gaming and against it, thinks conventions and cosplay is childish and immature. You don’t really game anymore and never went to a convention.

She can fuck off, I do what I want. My first guess as to why she hates it, is she just wants more attention or wants me to just do shit she wants to do. If you start doing that for someone... Well, you're bascially giving up who you are just to fit the fancy of someone else.

Some people cannot entertain themselves and basically demand the attention of others in order to keep themselves occupied. That's not your problem... that would be hers. I'd make her deal with her problem instead of kicking the can down the road... She can find her own hobbies instead of being a greedy ass attention whore.

Some say change is a good thing & others say you shouldn’t have to change for anyone especially when it comes to your interests, hobbies, etc. As for me I would probably give up my partner before I give up my interests but on the other hand if my partner was into gaming I would probable give her up because there are nerdy interests & there are addictions & yes gaming is an addiction.
