It's evolutionary incorrect answer. Just a popular one. Humans weren't monogamous before the concept of owning land was populated. It is connected to owning something. How that is "true love" I do not know.
How many wives one had back then was debatable between cultures, but still everyone hated a cheater regardless. Claiming to be in love with someone then sleeping around casually does not prove your love to that individual. You pursue your lusts rather than love. Love is not experienced in its fullest since of self-giving. You may have a different definition but I believe true love to be forgiving, understanding, and faithful.

True love, no. Selfish love, yes. As in the type of love where they don't really care about the person or their feelings but they love what that person brings to their live.

No, if you really love someone, you don't WANT anyone else - never mind actually acting on those desires.
It's not possible to "love" someone and then go around and sleep with other people. Those are excuses cheaters make so that they can feel better about themselves. Truly loving someone involves being committed to them both emotionally and physically.

Never. I've learned that when you love someone, their happiness is your priority. If you truly loved them, you would never intentionally do something (like sleep around) that would really hurt them.
I call total bs too. If you are in love with someone, there is no way you would hurt that person. Unless the person they love, doesn't love them and they are pining over lost love.

i actually know someone (my mother) who has accomplished this. she slept around with multiple guys for years (4 I believe) while still carrying a torch for my father. she eventually cot over him though.
I gave up on the whole concept of love and monogamy awhile ago. I think it's really possible to love more than one person at the same time. Whether you want to call it true love or not is a different matter.
I think the test is if any of these three guys would be of the same exact opinion if it was their girls/women doing it to them
