It's evolutionary incorrect answer. Just a popular one. Humans weren't monogamous before the concept of owning land was populated. It is connected to owning something. How that is "true love" I do not know.
How many wives one had back then was debatable between cultures, but still everyone hated a cheater regardless. Claiming to be in love with someone then sleeping around casually does not prove your love to that individual. You pursue your lusts rather than love. Love is not experienced in its fullest since of self-giving. You may have a different definition but I believe true love to be forgiving, understanding, and faithful.
True love, no. Selfish love, yes. As in the type of love where they don't really care about the person or their feelings but they love what that person brings to their live.
If you are not in a relationship with the person you are claiming to be in love with then yes it is very possible. If you are in a relationship then I second that call - bullsh*t
It's not possible to "love" someone and then go around and sleep with other people. Those are excuses cheaters make so that they can feel better about themselves. Truly loving someone involves being committed to them both emotionally and physically.
If you truly love someone, you'll have more respect for how they feel and what you have with them. Than to f*ck it up with some casual, random, temporary people.
If you truly loved someone, you would get so guilty. Whether it was a kiss or something more, you'd pull away because you knew it was the wrong thing to do.
NOPE, I don't think so at all, I think its possible to care about one person while sleeping around. But when your truly in love with someone you don't wan't to have sex with anyone else.
Never. I've learned that when you love someone, their happiness is your priority. If you truly loved them, you would never intentionally do something (like sleep around) that would really hurt them.
I call total bs too. If you are in love with someone, there is no way you would hurt that person. Unless the person they love, doesn't love them and they are pining over lost love.

I gave up on the whole concept of love and monogamy awhile ago. I think it's really possible to love more than one person at the same time. Whether you want to call it true love or not is a different matter.
of course its possible. but not while you are in a relationship with the one you love. I mean I still love my ex and but I sleep around. no harm no foul.

Yes.and no. They don't love you while they are actually sleeping around but they will magically love you again once they get dumped or need a change. That's real love.

I don't think it's possible. Love without fidelity is hardly love at all.

Love isn't just sex, it's so much more.

Where does it say you don't care for the other?
If you cared about them you wouldn't do something that you know is gonna hurt them like hell.
Depends on the situation.

No, if you really love someone, you don't WANT anyone else - never mind actually acting on those desires.

Bullsh*t at it's finest.

Bullsh*t in my opinion...

I think the test is if any of these three guys would be of the same exact opinion if it was their girls/women doing it to them
when I'm in love. Not only do I not sleep with another, but I can't stop thinking about another girl.
yes it is true, just ask the mormons or the polygamists.
if you loved one person you wouldn't need to be sleeping around. so i call bullshit on that too
yes its possible. people can love someone and have to move on.
My ex told me that after I found out he cheated on me. ANd yep its total bullsh*t.
