Same has happened to me recently. The sex must not have been that great. You really have to knock their socks off if you want a call back. Unfortunately I was really drunk and it was like 3 AM. Also apparently I was the rebound hook up. Now she doesn't talk to me. Every once in a while I catch her looking my way but that is it. My buddies all say she is up there with the hottest girls on campus so I kind of feel like I am missing out with her not talking to me. Oh well, there will be others.
I definitely agree with the other ladies here. It was something out of character and she can't take it back. Awkwardness usually comes out of embarrassment so don't take it personally.
A one night hookup was probably out of character for her and she's embarassed and ashamed for doing that. I highly doubt it was becaues the sex wasn't good.
It could be several things:
She does not like you
The sex sucked
She is not attracted to you any more...

Maybe she regrets hooking up with you.
Thats the only reason I would feel awkward after doing so.
Don't take it personal, its probably something she did that was out of character. And she wishes she could take it back.
she probably regret doing, no offense to you or anything, but some girls just are comfortable hooking up randomly and feel guilty when they do, its not how I feel personally but I have friends that feel that way
The sex was not good, maybe?
