is that the same thing as 'the one'? he always tells me how much he loves me and wants to be with me forever..we've been dating for 6 months but he says he's never felt like this before about anyone, just wondering if its just sweet talk or something more than that

One way you can know if he's serious about his feelings for you is to watch is actions. If his actions aren't matching what he's saying then he is definitely just sweet talking.

For example, if he's being really sweet, doing unexpected things for you, and going out his way to make you happy, then he really does love you. If he's just keeps telling you he loves you but doesn't do anything to show it then he's probably just sweet talking you.

Guys don't say that stuff because they feel they have to. There are only two reasons why a guy would say that...1. Get you in bed. 2. He means it.

If I had to guess, I would say that your boyfriend means it.
