Details were not given but I would imagine that it is partially because lonely people consume alcohol or do drugs or over eat or engage in risky behaviors like sex with strangers. Some others might neglect hygienic responsibilities or exercise and diet formalities.

Join a faith community and worship God!

Help Others, be Charitable And/Or Do Volunteer Work!

Research shows that people who do volunteer work have lower BMI’s and lower stress levels then people who don’t do volunteer work leading to longer lives. Research also shows that people who are generous are happier than people who are stingy and according to the body of research – giving somebody $1.00 makes you just as happy as giving somebody $1,000,000. It’s not the quantity that matters but the act itself that brings happiness.

Be Productive!

Research shows that people who sleep more than 9 hours a day die the fastest while people who sleep between 6-8 hours live the longest! The bible says those who sleep too much and avoid offering any kind of sacrifice in their lives will be cast into miserable existences where they encounter traumatic events they can barely handle. Read the verse “a little slumber, a little sleep and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed bandit.”

Avoid Excessive Drinking and don’t drink anything other than Wine!

Russians have a very low average life span and it is mostly because the males drink so much Vodka. You are more likely to die an early death if you consume too much alcohol so it is better to avoid extravagance in drinking or eating. However, a small serving of wine 2-3 times a week is good for the heart which is why Jesus instructed his followers to consume bread and wine in memory of Him who died for those who needed him.

Avoid cohabiting before marriage!

Research shows the poorest people in society are the ones in common law romantic relationships. Research also shows people who engage in common law relationships before marriage are far more likely to divorce in the event that they do marry and research shows that divorced people live shorter lives than those who remain married or who never married at all. Those who never marry and those who remain married their entire lives report higher levels of satisfaction with their lives and have healthier lives both physically and emotionally and mentally then those who are divorced at some time in their lives and they live longer too!
