For those who do forgive, what inspires your supernatural kindness?
Father forgive me as I forgive others: would you pray this prayer?

For those who do forgive, what inspires your supernatural kindness?
It's only a mistake if they do not learn from it. I always forgive people when they either betray me or do something wrong. I'm not the type of person to hold grudges. Those grudges can weigh you down and affect your mental health. It's best to just forgive them and move on. Nobody is perfect in this world. Sometimes, kindness can go a long way. Everyone needs a little bit of kindness to brighten up their day.
My mom often tells me that I am too kind and gullible, but I find that some people really need to see some kindness to change themselves. Maybe I should stop being gullible though, but I'd never stop being kind.
Wonderful question, by the way :)
What a lovely question to ask. I certainly do forgive those who have done wrong, as it is the right and KIND thing to do.
May we all learn more humility.
Thanks @PrettyPriya
What do you stand on, to be so forgiving? Seems like you called not forgiving a product of pride, why?
Okay @PrettyPriya
Thanks for sharing. You should I enjoy your answers.
@PrettyPriya you are welcome
In "The Lord's Prayer", Forgive us our trespasses, (debts), and we forgive those who trespass against us. Easy words to say when you're saying the prayer by rote. Much harder when you actually think about those words as your saying them.
"And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:25
If you are unwilling to forgive others, God won't forgive you.

I would say that I do forgive because I want God to forgive me as well. I want to just focus on loving others, just as I want God to just focus on loving me as well. I don't want to have hate and anger inside me and why do I have reason to me angry with others? They are not perfect and neither am I. I would only be angry with them because I expect something from them, or want or think I needed something from them. But Do I really NEED or want that thing, that love or kindness that I think I am entitled to? NO I DO NOT. because what I really need is just God's forgiveness and his mercy and grace which he has given to me. This is what I "need" to not die my spiritual death and to live for eternity in heaven with Christ.
If you don't forgive others for what they do, why other should forgive you for what you do, including God?
People feel good when they know they had been forgiven, even bether when they feel bad for what they had done.
Some things can be forgiven, some can't.. And even when forgiveness happens, don't mean they can stay in your life.
God says he will only forgive you if you forgave others.
I’m an atheist. But even when I was a religious Jew, we don’t say father in a religious context.
It depends because some things people do are unforgivable. If someone has hurt me and apologizes for his/her behavior then I can forgive that person
I’ll always forgive others because the pain to hold a grudge on them would only destroy my life
I hope nobody has to endure the level one is sent to by people who do not deserve forgiveness.
Since it's a part of the Lord's Prayer, it's a pretty good logic to follow. If we don't forgive others, how can we ourselves be forgiven?
Matthew 6:14-15 and Luke 23:34 are some examples.
