How powerful do you think love is - I mean not just romantic love?

I’ve heard of 90 pound woman lifting cars up with their bare hands when their kids get trapped in the car. I’ve heard of mothers who come out of coma when their baby is placed crying on their rib cage. I’ve heard of humanitarians who live past 100 years after saving lives in the Holocaust. One Japanese guy lived past 95 after surviving two nuclear attacks on his city years apart and I read owning a cat can lengthen your life up to 25 years.

I believe my love for God cure me of multiple diseases when I was in high school, including God’s love for me. And I believe my best friend is the reason I got into university, her emotional support gave me the strength I needed to conquer my health problems and get into the school.

Love is a universal language, if animals can understand the language of love we're just humans. Tbh it's my personal opinion that finding true love is the most hardest and most precious thing one can have.

The love for your kids can be super powerful. Can completely change your life and let you set aside many of your own needs for the one who truly needs you. Family in general if people treat each other well. For me especially my siblings. We are very different, but we grew up together under similar conditions and have been through so much together.
I don't give as much for romantic love in many cases. There are many more egoistic needs both want fulfilled so it is build on more conditions. Though, some couples do have a strong and beautiful connection, just very rare.
I think it is important to have love in your life to have it good mentally, and thereby physically, though hugs and so are also good for your health). But it is not important where it exactly comes from, a partner, friendship, animals, kids.. As long as there are someone who is there for you in a special way, and whom you want to be there for too. Gives life a lot of meaning.
