I want to know about your faith. Are you or were you a member of an organized religion? What are some unique characteristics of the faith?

Absolutely no faith bashing! I just want an understanding of everyone's beliefs.

I was raised as a Mormon, although I no longer am one. I'm surprised as to how many people are uneducated about the religion and yet still claim certain things that are incorrect about it.

I think a lot can be accomplished by understanding one another's beliefs. So tell me about your religion and some common misunderstandings about it.

I am a traditionalist Catholic.

I think the most unique aspect of the Catholic Faith is the Eucharist, or Holy Communion. We believe it to be the Body and Blood of Christ Himself. When, at the Last Supper, He said "take this and eat, for this is my body... take this and drink, this is my blood", we believe that He meant it.

Another is our devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Contrary to common belief, we do not worship or adore her. We simply offer her great honor and reverence. We call her the Mother of God because we believe Jesus Christ to be God, as is stated in the first chapter of John's Gospel ("In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... and the Word became flesh..."). There are also some roots in the Old Testament and the Kingdom of David, but I won't go into great detail about that now, as I'm going to publish a MyTake about it on August 15th. Stay tuned if you're interested.

And a third, following from that is what we call the Communion of Saints. These are the men and women of all ages and nationalities whom the Church has formally recognized for how they worked and lived, and in many cases, suffered and died for the Faith.

I believe İslam. İn our religion Koran is guide book and Mohammed is last Prophet. Jesus too a Prophet. We have prays, fasting and another things. Everybody birth clean we dont believe original sin. Allah is one and perfect. We dont believe trinity.

My dad was always non religious and my mom was a non practicing Buddhist when I was a child and she passed that faith on to me but in 1994, she changed and began abusing both me and my dad and in 1999 I converted to Christianity, in 2009, I became curious about Judaism, now I study both Christianity and Judaism and visit churches and Jewish discussions digitally but I’m not Jewish. I just think Jewish ideas are too valuable to reject.
