I will clarify that these people were very religious and humble and did charity work and volunteered and obeyed the teachings of the bible and worked very very hard.

It is true. Now the average person will tell you it's not true... That's why they are average. They don't have a higher awareness on such subjects. The only reason people fail to have what they want is because their desire isn't strong enough or because they made what they don't want the desire.

Now that may sound like I mistyped something up there but I didn't. If you don't understand, you'll probably disagree with my initial statements.

I know 99% of people will think I'm crazy. But I bet they cannot explain why I it makes no sense for more than a few sentences. I COULD SPEND HOURS TELLING YOU WHY IT DOES MAKES SENSE

Wanting "something" is very general - and can mean almost anything. "Always" is a very big word - meaning there are no exceptions. So the answer is no.

It depends on how attainable it is to start with. If I want to learn fluent German I'm sure I can, if I work at it. If I want to be an astronaut, that's extremely unlikely, even if I was still 20 years old.

How many people win a silver or bronze medal at the Olympics, when they wanted to win the gold? I'm sure they wanted the gold very badly and worked extremely hard to get there, but that doesn't mean it will happen.

Really wanting something and working hard to get it will greatly increase your chances. But whether or not you attain it depends on how attainable it is, and maybe a bit of luck.

On the other hand, not working to get something greatly lowers your chances of getting it.

Imagine a gold miner, he digs every day for months then strikes it rich. He claims its down to hardworking and skill. But what of the thousands of other miners who dig even harder for years and never find gold?

How do you explain those whowqere the first to practice and last to leave practice that gave it their all each time during practice and games, ate healthy, got quality sleep each night since they were 5 years old? They studied the game, did weight training and cardio etc but still did not make it to the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB etc How about those you barely missed making it to the Olympics but did everything to gice themselves the best chance to make it?

How do you explain all the actors and musicians that do everything to be the best they can be and still don't make it to the big times?

Nothing in life is every guaranteed. What they mean is if you want something badly enough you’ll work hard to achieve it. You won’t get anywhere goal wise just sitting and waiting for things to happen. You have to actually work towards them.

A lot of people believe in manifestation. Basically just putting out good vibes but you have to put the actual work in for it too.

The thing is, you can want something with all your heart and soul and sometimes it just doesn't happen. That's just life.

Rubbish. Plenty of people want kids, but find themselves unable to have them. Spend thousands on IVF, only to have it fail.
Plenty of people have dreams of being professional sports stars, or big time actors or musical artists, very few actually make it.
Yes, hard work and focus can help get you better things, but you're are limits.
