Congratulations, hating high school means you'll probably end up being an interesting person. Most of the interesting, cool people I know hated high school. Those who loved it tend to be dull, shallow people who never quite move beyond it. I certainly hated high school, mostly related to my mother's mental illness during that time. I didn't lament high school being crappy because I had a feeling it was bad for a lot of people, and I knew that college had to be better. It was better than high school (no crazy mother to deal with) but I can empathize with you, because by my senior year of college, I was disappointed in it. This time I realized I was to blame, because I had basically waited for things to happen to me, rather than going out and making them happen, seeking out new experiences, etc. So when I graduated from college, even though I was working fulltime and getting my masters at nights (and did it in two years), I went out and sought new experiences -tried new foods, went to museums, took road trips, joined clubs, teams, and took leisure learning classes, learned new hobbies, etc. I ended up having the social life I always wanted, became the person I always wanted to be. Totally made up for the lackluster experiences of high school and college, and then some. So cheer up, you have plenty more opportunities to have the kind of life you want.

Bahahaha no! Not one bit. I had an awesome time in high school, and even now, less than 10 years later I can say for sure it's already been trumped plenty of times over. Don't fret, the best times are ahead of you.
i wouldn't say BEST time of your life, ur barely 20, there's still a lot of life to live. for me, high school was definitely a time where I learned a lot about myself and it played an important role in making me the person that I am today mentally and emotionally. life definitely gets way better after high school so don't fret about it. but I say just make the most of your high school experience and enjoy it to the fullest. and you know I agree with all the drama and everyone doin things to try and fit in and all that kind of sucks but just stay true to who you are and just make the most of it!
Depends on what you do after you graduate.
I had good times in high school, especially senior year, but I like college so much more. I don't expect college to be the best time of my life either though--I don't plan on hitting my high point at such a young age.
It is not the best time of your life. I loved high school and really enjoyed it, but I wouldn't say it was the BEST time of my life. It was a great time, but not the best. Just enjoy it.

Our schools in Australia are different to USA, we have years 1-6 at primary school then 7-12 at high school. Then we can (if we want, not compulsary) go to university after year 12 and study.
Anyway I also hate it when people say high school is the best time of your life because I really really don't like school. I had the same problem as you where I had a lot of friends but they ditched me later on. I've tried to make friends with other people but most of them are complete DHs. I'm relocating to a different school next year though, because I've had enough of the one I'm in now.
So no. I don't think high school is the best part of your life, for me anyway. Do you think you could move to another school next year?Anyone who looks back on high school, and remembers it as the best time of their life, surely must have squandered the remainder of their life. Prehaps I'm cynical and maladjusted (it has been suggested), but, to me, high school was akin to some perverse social experiment gone awry. Don't worry about it, life gets a whole lot better. Just grin and bear it. Actually, no grin is required.
No way, I think college is. Don't get me wrong, the work is a lot in college, but it's the best social experience you'll ever have. Guaranteed.
It gets soooo much better! School was sh*t. The only people that say it's the best time of your life is the people that went on to do nothing and waste their lives.
If you are matured beyond high school mentally but still in it then it's gonna suck. Those that loved it I feel were not mature beyond high school and therefor enjoyed the drama and bs of what they call an education that comes with it.
I had a great time in high school and , along with my first year in college, have been the best time of my life... so far. After a while life hits you: Bills, work, decisions, etc. I will cherish those moments where I was carefree. :)
I loved high school, despite all the drama and whatnot. And I still miss it sometimes. Life was much easier then. But for me it wasn't the best time of my life. Just enjoy it. It goes by fast and then sooner than you know it you've graduated.
In the future when you look back on High school you won't remember the bad things like the classwork, the mean teachers, not even the people who made high school even worst. The only thing you will remeber is the good times you had with your friends and the crazy things teenager did for attention.
LOL. Simple answer is no.
And if it was, your life must be sh*tty.
Cuz my life keeps getting better even through hardships.no high school was horriable for me I love college its so much fun!
College is the best time of your life for sure.
