Do girls like guys to write them letters, send flowers and stuff?

here is some stuff about me. I am a pretty manly looking dude. I have been doing MMA for about 4 years and am well built.  But I also have a sensitive side.  I am deployed right now and I write my girl letters, send, her flowers, and a poem or 2 and I get nothing.  Not a thank you or anything until I mention it to her.  then she says oh it was nice or they were nice.  I thought girls liked that stuff. At least most of the ones I have dated.  What is the deal?

I love love love it... my boyfriend use to get me flowers all the time but he hasn't in a few mnts :(

I have mentioned it but he hasn't got the clue how do I get him to do that.. because I love it...

When he did get me flowers I sent him a email every time telling him thank you and I appreciate it and he is so sweet so he could read it when he woke up...

U may "overdo" it so she kinda has gotten to were she expects it ... I am sure she loves it ...all girls I know do... I just believe maybe you should skip it for about amonth or whatever and then when you do it again maybe she will appreciate it more? I

When a guy gives a girl little gifts or flowers, it makes us feel special. It's good in proportion, you don't want it to be regular it's better when it's kinda a surprise, and no girl likes a girly guy so as sweet as it is to get a love letter, it can be too sappy and stupid. Stick with flowers and gifts there always safe

Wow I would love to get flowers and letters and poems! My fiancee used to do things like that when we did the long distance thing at the start but now unless its like valentines or my birthday etc he won't bother! but good for you being a hopeless romantic most girls love it! may your girlfriend would just rather you show your love in a different way! why don't you ask her? what she wants? how she would like you to show your affection save you wasting time and money!

I have no idea. girls do like it. I love to get flowers and letters it makes me feel happy and loved. I think this girl appreciates it but is either shy or is too thankful to really know how to thank you properly. or she could be different from all the other girls. and there is nothing wrong with different

i love that kind of stuff...wish I had a guy to do that for me...my ex did for the first 6 months...then gradually stopped. I don't know what her deal is but she is crazy if she doesn't appreciate it
