My girlfriend Doesn't Want Kids With Me Because I'm Short?

I am short, I am only 5 feet tall and my girlfriend is 5 feet 2 inches tall.

My girlfriend and I love the idea of one-day having kids, however, she doesn't want to have my biological kids. Since I'm short and my girlfriend is short also, it's pretty our kids will be short. likely Her reasoning is that being short in the world we live in is difficult when it comes to dating and making friends and how people treat and sports and how people perceive you, statistically taller people have an advantage. And it's not even like my height is average, it's below average.

She doesn't want our kids to have a hard time because of a short height. She said she would rather adopt or use a sperm donor with taller genes. It does hurt me that she said this, but on some level, I can't lie. Being short made my life very difficult. So difficult that at points in my life in the past I contemplated suicide over my height. Being short, especially a short man, can be very hard in the society we live in. I've often wondered, is it even fair for me to spread my genes when it would only make my children suffer?

But even though I understand on some level her reasoning, it still hurts that my girlfriend doesn't want MY KIDS, she rather has a test tube baby or adopts someone else's kids. I have a hard time dealing with this and making sense of it. Thoughts?

So she's judging you because you're short, yet she's not tall. Wow, I don't know what to think. It's not like you are midgets damn it. You think being tall is all mighty and crap, is not. Tall people also deal with things, I mean I love my height bur it is not with its faults.
We all go through things, no one is perfect, you should be positive and accept the fact you are not tall and while is not wrong to want to adopt or take advantage of science to have kids, it is morally wrong to say the things she says to you.

Excuse me, I didn't ask to be short and who you calling short, shorty. Oh wow, she's taller now cuz she's 5'2 ? Whatever.

Stand up and have kids and if she doesn't share your dreams to be a parent then move on and find another person.

If she truly loved you why would she insist only her genetic material be used?

Have you considered she is values the idea of her children more than her lover who already exists?
