the female accounts lmfao. its hilarious.
lets all not say what we wanna say just for the sake of "rebelling"
They are needed, and good. But not with force. Not with force to be put into traditional roles and not be forced to be accepting of people who dont wanna be in traditional roles.

Yes to a degree, don't force it on others, men are men and women are women, homosexuality and bisexuality is where it ends, none transgender bullshit, I believe they're just making it more difficult for the gay and bi, you may think I'm wrong and hey fuck you!
Yes and no. Sometimes they are there for good reason, other times they limit the choices of individuals to live as they please in ways that really do not effect others.
Society is general likes a nice simple way of life, leads to less stress. However your house/environment is more important, figuring out what works there is far more beneficial. Whats good for society isn't always whats good for the individual.
We're not living in the 1940's and 1950's anymore. When you're married you can't have your partner giving 110% and YOU nothing marriage is not to be taken lightly. It's a commitment for life and well being of family equally shared.
I'm a hardworker. i can't speak for the rest. i know some lazy ones that prefer to have a thousand kids and watch dance moms all day. i dont see how they do it
I agree with you bro! I want an individualistic, self sufficient woman, not one who wants my money and has no ambition to get it herself to buy clothes and support herself. I don't want a stay at home girlfriend, I can cook my own meals and clean by myself
That's irrelevant and I have no need to explain myself. You're just belittling the people who are strong enough to stand against the norm. You're insecure that not every girl likes or accepts your sexist, limiting "gender roles".
Hopefully you see that your way isn't the only way. To do that, you need to accept yourself and not rely on others. Puttimg others down is never ok, but it'll never effect me. This conversation is over. Have a nice day
I bet you wouldn't be so mad if you weren't insecure about your ways being accepted. Nobody is obligated to accept gender roles in their relationships and I'd rather have a strong, independent woman than one who wants to be taken care of with my money and all. Of course, I'd help her if needed, but not just because she's a girl. I have no obligation to anyone in society, and it looks like you don't support freedom if you don't like what's being said. How about next time you try being more civilized and less condescending? She didn't deserve that
@GothAnacap She deserved more than that for denying self-evident biological reality. The gender drivel that both of you are parroting is a poisonous lie from the Communist Jews of the Frankfurt School.
If all you can do is use ad hominem attacks, it shows you know you're wrong! I'm a voluntaryist, so you're actually more leftist than I am. Even if I was leftist, your argument would still be an attack on my character instead of you addressing my question.
How does it feel to be so intellectually weak that you have to threaten others and put them down? If everyone did what they wanted as long as they weren't harming anyone, you would go cry in the corner. Your desire to control others stems from a lack of emotional intelligence and self control. Whether you decide to be happy is up to you and you have no right to force your will on anyone.
There's nothing else to say, so this conversation is over
I'm not saying we're bound by our genders, but we've both evolved in such a way that we specialize in certain fields.
Men are physically stronger and thus excel in more dangerous situations.
Women are more nurturing and are better with raising kids.
Both have their own ups and downs but we shouldn't demonize them because "muh not-so-overbearing patriarchy" You do what you want in life. Just don't be a dick to others for their choices.
Not bad nor good, whatever works works. The problems I see with younger people is they try so hard to get away from traditional gender roles that they don't do what is natural, making them unhappy.
I would say look at the divorce rate in this day and age and compare to 50 years ago. then make your own conclusions as to what works and what doesn't.
I think that women nurture the baby because they have boob milk. That’s why they should be the ones to stay home with the baby. Other than that, they can do whatever the hell they want
Men can lactate, yes, but people only lactate after a pregnancy, so, unless the man deceives his body with special hormones into thinking it's pregnant, the body won't start lactating. Also, women are by nature built for lactating unlike men.
@Blunique that’s the most messed up thing I have ever heard. Why would you trust feeding a baby with anything else than what is most healthy and natural?

If you count stay at home mothers as a traditional gender role, then no.
Children are better off when the mother works.
In long run those are...
But not mandotary...
Its depends with whom you are and what you want to be with the other person/partner

Division of labour has been a successful way of living for thousands of years.
I suspect that's not what you mean though.
I feel like if old gender roles were enforced people would start forcing girls to have kids they don't want.
No absolutely not. i refer to sit at home all day cleaning, changing diapers, catering to a guy that has two arms and legs like a slave.
*I prefer not to
That's some hate you have there
No it is not. My dad was never a lazy man. and thanks to him I do not have a lazy man like most you guys today.
Because all women are hard workers. That's what you come across as.
I'm a hardworker. i can't speak for the rest. i know some lazy ones that prefer to have a thousand kids and watch dance moms all day. i dont see how they do it
Traditional roles aren't perfect, but the ones we have now aren't either.
No, two people working is better fot the society and their country's economy.
i think people should be able to choose what they wanna do.
Gender roles make 0 sense, so they are not good for society.. Doing something just because it's tradition is always a bad idea.

@GothAncap are you willing to dress like George Washington? With make-up, curly wigs and frilly lace clothes?

Yes, because gender roles are based in biology and are essential for the creation and continuation of a society.

Oh I was just stating that.
