Why is Svastika considered evil, when Hammer and Sickle is considered "peaceful" ?

Both are evil but people tend to tolerate hammer and sickle a lot more, although communism took way more lives compared to fascism.

I consider communism the worst system currently implemented, excluding dictatorship, obviously.
by the way, Germany at that time, had nazism. Facism was in Italy.
I'm just glad Soviet union fell, however current situation in Russia is pretty bad, Putin is de facto dictator. So China is the only powerful communist county left (i'm deliberately excluding smaller countries). And what do you know… Large scale persecution of non communist ideologies…

Even Germany is covering swastikas and as far I know using them is a crime there. It is not just to consider only Nazi stuff were evil in that time, but as I said, they lost the war.

i think a large part of it is because it was bent on world domination. under different leaders it was characteristically different. and while there were lots of atrocities they were mostly inflicted upon its own people so that people outside of the USSR didn't feel the impact (not that that makes it ok).
also the hammer sickle was representative of communism which had benevolent intentions while the nazi regime was entirely evil in its ideology. communism as a principle is not rooted in genocide or what where as nazism tended toward it

Communism isn't as frowned upon as Nazis. I'll boil it down to four simple factors. First simply because the Nazis brutally lost and communism won as part of the capitalist west coalition. They're victors..
Secondly the ideas and core principles of Nazism is much more extreme than communism and fascist. Nazi had racism, pseudo scientific racialism and white aryan superiority in its creed, I say much more extreme than the standard fascist, look up the quote of Mussolini about race. He regards it as a feeling and doesn't really care about it..

Thirdly the Nazi pretty much fought everyone. Everyone, well most at least; hated Nazi. They invaded European countries and planned to expand all the way throughout.

Fourth, the majority of deaths in the Stalin era USSR and Mao era China were not the same fashion as Nazi's deliberate genocide. Majority were killed by famine as result of the aim of rapid industrialisation and collectivisation. Chinese Great leap forward
and Soviet's 30s famine. Of course there were lots of deliberate killings such as in gulags, of political prisoners etc, these are expected of totalitarian regimes.

Fifth. Communism played a part on many countries liberation from Western countries darkest history, their addiction of colonialism. Post WW2, Western powers were still in control of many colony they've invaded. Quite ironic they fought Nazi invaders while holding colonies lol. For example in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh wanted independence from France but obviously denied throughout the many years. HCM even admired American ideology, its constitution which was based on enlightenment, the freedom. However the Western powers doesn't give a shit leaving no choice but to side with communism who supported liberation from imperialism. You know the rest, it lead to Vietnam war... In USA, the rampant Red Scare, the nationwide campaign of demonizing communism that happened and McCarthyism just led many Americans to their death, yes the pointless Vietnam war. As Muhammad Ali said ''I got nothing against no Viet Cong. No Vietnamese ever called me a nigger''. You could say that Red Scare hysteria delegitimise the actual threat of communism for future generation.

I don't favour communism at all, because in its purely hypothetical doctrine that there is no state, no government, social classes and ''all property is owned by the community and each person contributes and receives according to their ability and needs ''. This is quite impossible to achieve and unrealistic.. This is why you often hear ''It only sounds good on paper''... So yes in my opinion equating Nazism to Communism is honestly dumb.

Hammer represents the workers (industrial working class) and the sickle represents peasantry (agricultural laborers).
Communism never took any lives because we never actually had communism, only Stalinism and socialism.
No country ever was a "communist country", Stalinism is a form of socialist totalitarian dictatorship, they were using methods similar like nazis and fascists (except they were not racist nor nationalists).
Socialism was supposed to lead to communism, but it failed.

Communism is not "evil", it's a perfect utopian society, but it was never achieved, because of human imperfection (greed and selfishness).
Original Communism is: Classless society, moneyless society, and stateless society.
As you can see, former USSR was obviously not "communist country", because that is an absurd - Communism is a stateless society (the world would be united, there would be no countries).
The so called "communist party" was fake, all they had was a title "communist", but in reality, they were privileged, just like the medieval feudal lords, which leads to second evidence - USSR was definitely not classless (therefore - not communist).
And finally, the third irrefutable evidence, USSR had a Ruble as a monetary unit - But communism is moneyless society (From each according to his ability, to each according to his need) - In true communism, everyone would work according to their abilities, and everybody would receive according to their needs.

But as I said, we never had real communism, only socialism as a false path to communism, and there was Stalinism, as a horrible form of dictatorship, closer to ideology of right-wing regimes.
People who don't know the diffrence between communism and Stalinism are just as ignorant as people who don't know the difference between feminism and femi-nazism.
Some of them are just uninformed, because they live in capitalist countries (influenced by imperialistic propaganda).
Some of them are filled with hatred because their parents or grandparents were fascists and nazis.
Some of them are plain dumb, indoctrinated by religion, quasi-philosophy, pseudo-logic or some other form of brainwashing.

That's why communism was never achieved in practice.
Humanity needs to evolve for several more centuries in order to achieve communism, which is a society of the future, just like the one in Star Trek - no money, no classes, no countries - united world in a perfect society.

It was an symbol of evil, and was thoroughly defeated.
It became a punch line.
No one was afraid of it, and you would joke about it.

We’re not too far removed from the Cold War.
