Canada - a liberal's wet dream! Gosh - I wish I had thought of that one! Very nice! And about the excuse about moving north to Canada? Yes, very lame. You can actually travel SOUTH from Detroit into Canada! but I digress
Individuals may be, but by definition, the country cannot be. Besides - we are all members of ONE race - the HUMAN race!

Well you're not black and you've never have not will you ever will know how it feels to get treated like a black person on the hands of white people so I dont think you're the best person to answer that question. Most of the world is pro white and anti black, most latinas are anti black and love white people. Not all black men are in gangs or from the street. Im neither from the suburbs, and I get the cops called on me for no reason at all. Just because I dont look like you or a white person. So all kinds of black people suffer from this kind of racism. Latinas can't benefit from white privilege that's why white people treat you guys well and blacks like garbage

You act like I've never experienced racism lmao I've experienced it from black people, other Latinos, white people. That doesn't mean the country as a whole is racist, just because individuals are racist, which is a very small percent, doesn't mean the whole country is racist. And especially not that it's "institutional" "systemic" "systematic" or "structural".

I'm American and think that people can be racist to more than just one race of people... I was a victim one time at Walmart there was a Hispanic woman with her children and I moved down to give her room to sit down with them and she looked terrible at me and she was telling her children something in Spanish but if looks could kill I would be dead she was not nice to me and it was because I'm a white man
Well said. There indisputably is racism here in America, but it's in such small quantities that it's entirely negligible.

Yes, people think I've never experienced it because I say by and large, the US isn't racist. There are individuals who have been racist, but I've had much more positive experiences
Are there racist people? Absolutely, like there are anyplace. Personally though I don’t think it’s really more racist in particular than any other country.
just because of few people we can't blame a whole country. there are some people who are racist not everyone.

People of all races, nationalities, and colors struggle to come to the US. In general and as a whole, I don't believe "America" is racist. Sure there is a racist past but in general that is highly frowned upon in current society. And there will be "individual" racism for a long time, although I believe that most people in the US are NOT racist. Of everyone who I know, I *might* now maybe 2 people who I would consider racist.
Every country has racists in them, but we can't just say a whole country is racist. Some of my former friends who are black are very racist.

Notice how the only people who are loudly calling America racist and resorting to insults as their counter-argument are typically out of touch upper-middle class White Liberals from the US and Canada who feel the need to speak for all Non-Whites. That really says something when no one hates America more than White Leftists.
I mean, the streets of every major city in America are filled with POC telling us that America is racist *at this very moment*, but yeah sure it's just white Liberals. I think you're the one who is out of touch right now.
Nope. It was prior to Jim Crow's repeal, but "America" is not any longer. If instead you mean are there racist jackasses among the population of 330 million, yes there are.
As an American, I dont think we are Amy less racist than any other country. Most people here do get along with one another, but the assholes in the country make a bigger impression then everyone else who is getting along.
Racism was built into our very foundations, and written into our constitution. Hell Slavery is still legal under the "punishment/criminal" principle. A lot of people will deny it but the effects of racism persist today and likely will take at least another 2 generations to fix, with maybe a few minor ripples left. But I think we are at least trying to show that we're aware that the effects of racism exists, which is a big leap forward. So is America racist? Yes, but it's trying.
I don't think America is particularly racist. The thing is that the US is just very big and has a very large and diverse population. It is inevitable that there will be racists lurking around, and with the growth of the internet, it has just become more apparent.
The entire country isn’t racist. But racism exists individually in America.

On one side we see lot of hate against black people and their killings on other side we see blonde white girls making pornos with black guys. That confuses me a lot
Yes. Always have and will always be. A country that isn't 100% homogenous racism will exist there.

That's a good point lol But even in homogeneous populations, or mostly homogeneous populations, there is racism. I don't think it's an institutional, just an individual issue.
In a 100% homogenous society where people are the same race or share a same ethnicity there is no racism unless there is a different religious beliefs like Arab Muslims fight between sunny Muslims and Shia Muslims.
The United States was stolen from the Native Americans and built on the backs of African Slaves. Everything about this country has everything to do with race.

Other latinos? Wow
Yes, other Latinos have been racist. It doesn't reflect all people though. It was largely a minority compared to everyone else.

Well said. Do I think some individuals in America are racist? Yes, definitely without a doubt. Do I think a majority of America is racist? Nope especially considering this poll of 5,360 Americans nationwide. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/reuters-poll-white-supremacist-views_n_59bc155fe4b02da0e141b3c8

I guess there is always hate then if there are differences lol
Yeah, but not racism. Racism is oppression of one ethic group towards another different ethnic person or group.
The United States was stolen from the Native Americans and built on the backs of African Slaves. Everything about this country has everything to do with race.
Quit spreading liberal derived ignorance and propaganda please. I'm guessing left-wing society and higher education taught you those lies?
