What are acceptable reasons to attack a man's groin area?

What are acceptable reasons to attack a mans groin area?
We all likely would agree that if a man tried to rape or attack a man or woman, that it is acceptable to attack his groin area but are there other reasons where it would be acceptable?

I can't think of any other reasons. Doing it for fun is cruel. Doing it for rudeness or yelling or mocking is also uncalled for.

Only via attacks/attempted attacks or attempted rape
