He alleges that lab manager Ashleigh Knowles told him he was 'lucky,' to have a job, as he was a man.
On one occasion, he claims she told him: 'You're a man and you don't need to be listening to this'.
The employment tribunal heard that discussing a new appointment, Knowles said: 'It will more than likely be a girl because women tend to be better and more organised in the lab.'
She then allegedly told Mr Price: 'You are lucky to have your job because everyone was shocked that it was a guy being employed - we normally only employ females because men are less organised.'
Mr Price said on one occasion he was asked by Miss Knowles to carry boxes that had been delivered 'because you're a man.'Ashleigh KnowlesAnother time when he challenged her that the tasks should not lie solely with him because he was male she threatened him with disciplinary action over his alleged insubordination, he claims.
On 29 October 2019 he received a WhatsApp from her talking about a visit from a colleague from another branch in which she said: 'Use an extra set of hands when you can* He could always move boxes too', the tribunal was told.
On 16 March 2020 he refused to move boxes as he was suffering from a hernia but was told by Miss Knowles: 'Man up and get on with it, it's only a few boxes.'
Lastly, he was allegedly told by Miss Knowles as he tried to enter the office: 'This conversation isn't for you to hear, girls only'.
Two days later he was dismissed.
Is there any explanation for this other than hatred of men?
I remember encountering man-hating scumbags while in college. These "ladies" all tried to form some conspiracy to get me kicked out of school. Didn't think I was worthy to talk to them. And when I naively assumed they had any decency, and tried to be sociable, they started making up BS. Placing me in places I was never at. Putting words in my mouth. Telltale, they could never keep their dates or times straight. They weren't content to get me fired from the cafeteria. The bitch manager there was never nice to anyone anyway. They tried to convince the whole town that I was some sort of serial rapist - without a trace of any evidence of a crime! They were relentless in this crusade, until I finally talked to the Student Judiciary about it. It was pure witch hunt, and lasted for two semesters.
Feminism used to be about rational things; like voting rights and preventing actual acts of cruelty from being committed against women in the workplace. Then, it got hijacked, and morphed into a glorification of everything that destroys women: abortion and prostitution culture.
Then, it got warped even further, into some revenge-by-proxy fantasy. Pie graph and hourglass worship. Infantile-demonic stupidity. Which seems to run rampant in US government now.
Most of the old dickheads that became targets for their hatred against women; are now long dead from heart attacks or strokes. So those who are assumed to be their great-grandchildren, are targeted by the parrot-haired freaks for revenge harassment campaigns.
No, Ms Knowles was completely open about her hatred of men and took every opportunity to denigrate Mr Price who has a very good prima facie case for sexual discrimination and sexual harassment.
Ms Knowles was blind to the fact that laws on sexual discrimination and sexual harassment are blind and can equally be applied to a woman discriminating and harassing a man as the other way around.
The Employment Judge Rachel Harfield said in her judgement on the hearing earlier this month: ‘In my judgement, the claimant’s case is sufficiently arguable…[and] it should proceed to a full hearing.
‘It is for the tribunal at that full hearing to hear all the evidence and then decide whether the alleged acts happened and their context.’
If Mr Price wins this case just watch as feminists like MP Jess Phillips explode about it. I wait the outcome of the case with interest.
I have a feeling that this case will never appear in the press again if Mr Price wins his case as the feminists and their allies would not want it known that men can take a feminist boss to tribunal and hold her accountable for any sexual discrimination.
Man haters and women haters always existed. But when you create an ideology and apply conflic theories to the relationship of the two sexes, this is what ought to happen.
Man haters now consider their feelings towards men not only justified, but one of their rights. And the ideology itself and how it's taught to children is increasing the number of women who prefer not to empathize with men (and I don't mean transgenders, gays and sissys but straight masculine men) because they see them as their historical oppressors.
I also don't see this trend going away any time soon. In fact from what I see the negative feelings will only rise on both sides. The result will be more kids living with single parents in poverty. 🤷♀️

If I didn't care for being as accurate and cautious as possible when I reach conclusions, I'd call feminism a divide and rule sham by the rich to destroy the working class. And if you read the history of feminism you will see it was almost always dominated by rich and middle class women and always put their needs first, most of the time ignoring most problems working class women faced or their living conditions and needs, let alone working class men. (40% of British males didn't have the right to vote until 1918, but do you hear anything about that in feminists' stories of victimhood and oppression?)
But to stay away from wild conclusions, I'd just say it's been willing to sacrifice the well being of many children and families whose well being depended to their traditioal communities, for the unrestrained freedom of a few generations of women, most of whom belong to the middle and upper class.
The working class is fragile and usually needs safety, solidarity and unity, in order to combat poverty (or flourish) and avoid a downward spiral into nothingness. Feminism provides almost everything needed for that downward spiral to happen.
This isn't feminism at all. Feminism is not about being assholes to men. This behaviour was sexist and just plain horrible, I hope that guy finds a new job where he is respected.
Agreed. I think that it is important for everyone to realize that every group, gender, race, religion... is capable of oppression when they are in power.
@Smashingdoozy but since feminism isn't a codified organisation and more of an idea, anyone can claim that they are a feminist and their claim would have equal value to your own. So, if the woman from the asker's story claims to be a feminist - she effectively is, despite your claim to the contrary.
I don't know what point you are trying to make? I don't see Muslims and assume they are a terrorist so you shouldn't see feminists and assume they are the bad ones?
That is sad to hear but it's an interesting discussion to have... 🤔 How many of these assumptions are happening without saying them out loud... It's this strange place where feminism is a great cause but is there a place where feminism gets unhealthy? Where there is like an unhealthy pride about it... Given this is strictly assumptions based on gender not on feminism specifically but gender equality while strange that guys now would need this equality but I think we need to stop using the word feminism and start using the word gender equality. I think it's very important for women to be held in high importance but it should not have a negative effect to do so... Gender equality, acknowledges the importance of women while still treating men with respect.
I keep on going back to this, if a woman had a boy, what would she want his future to look like? What should we tell little boys their future will look like? You will not get support and will be judged to do things based on your gender. Given to some extent, women could be told this but growing up, it's sweetie you sit down, boy you go out and go to work! This is an extreme example but I believe more expected of guys than of girls and I think it could be a good thing to be looking out for each other as genders rather than throwing one gender under the bus
Blatant hostility towards men is completely acceptable these days. Men are being told to shut up and be respectful. women are being told to be aggressive and smash the patriarchy. The problem is that women will just be sneakier about this but still do the same things
This isn't regular feminism, this is feminist extremism. And sadly, it's becoming more and more common. I hope Miss Knowles gets fired for this, as a woman with these kind of bigoted sexist views doesn't deserve to have any job, much less one with any kind of authority.
Well, he should have stood up for himself when the first issues arose, and run crying to tribunals and so on. He should have "manned" up. However, ladies, you started all this shit, so now you'll have to "woman up" and deasl with the consequences of getting what you wanted. It's all completely ridiculous, of course.
Look at our court system and you'll see men get three times the sentence a woman gets for the same offense. Going into discrimination in the Family Court system would take forever. Its misandry no matter how you cut it.
Sounds like it. Though really is that surprising? Women are allowed to be as sexist and demeaning to men as they want, in fact its encouraged and rewarded, so this is no surprise.
I've experienced similar things as well, though the woman who said it didn't like my answer (she told me lifting heavy boxes was a mans job, I told her after I was done was she going to make me a sandwich since its a woman's job. She didn't like that for some reason.).
Having experienced hostility purely because I am male , both in the workplace and as a lone parent , this is not uncommon. I believe many cases go unreported , as the man does not think he would be believed by a tribunal / court.
I have as well and it makes me question why men are being asked to change everything to be more inclusive and then women come in and act exactly like they told men NOT to act.
Obviously that is the right answer. I will not work for a woman and I will not work alone with a woman unless there are security cameras or I am wearing a body cam.
I have a woman above me and she is great. I have no problem with her or working for a woman. I just think that this highlights the problem with feminism is that it openly encourages hatred. If that is deemed acceptable then everyone should have that same right, but they don't
Well it killed the only shot I've had at a truly good job once, so maybe I should have made more fuss. It came out later that the whole place was like that, not just the interviewer.
They'll eventually hire a man to do all the heavy lifting. These systems can't sustain themselves, truly women can't do everything and trying to make them only leads to failure.
I was in a class back in 2012 where every male was forced out because of poor treatment from the professor. The school knew about the issue but couldn’t do anything about it. The feminist sexism is unchecked because it is a mind disease.
Colleges and Universities promote feminist hatred of men so that is no surprise, They need things like this to make the national spot light and really embarrass them for their lack of action.

The explanation is she was a poor quality boss who doesn't understand that sexism runs both ways and that by law you are not allowed to hire one sex over the other (in most cases).
I interviewed for a job right out of college and they told me that my credentials looked great but that they were told to hire a female. I thanked them and left. They hired my girlfriend at the time. This still happens a lot but most people are smart enough not to admit it anymore
This happens more often than people realize. I work in an office with women and I'm expected to lift boxes and fix things because I'm " The Man ". Thankfully my co-workers aren't asshole so I would never report of sure them. I hope this dude wins.
