+1 yThis is a very tough question that even King Solomon would find difficult to answer. I am not convinced that anyone has come up with a good solution to this issue. There are a number of sports where gender isn't a question. One that comes to mind is car racing. Another is marksmanship. At the younger ages several sports include both including little league baseball. One could say that if testosterone is a reason to keep transgender women out of women's sports then a low testosterone level would be sufficient to let them play and that is often achieved through hormone suppression and taking female hormones. I'm inclined to believe that if puberty blockers were used since the typical onset age in boys and testosterone levels were kept low at a level similar to girls (yes girls have a small amount of testosterone in their body) then such transgender girls should be permitted in girls sports at the high school level. If that continues after high school then such girls should be permitted in college level, semi professional and professional competition up to and including the Olympics. But I would want to see some sort of medical certification. But I agree that without those kinds of medical processes then some transgender women have an unfair advantage.
Another solution might be to open up several levels or divisions of play where anyone can try out for any level and one is assigned the level their ability is appropriate for as they do in high school with varsity and junior varsity leagues. This would work for any amateur league play. It would also eliminate the idea that to qualify for play for a team one does not have to pass a sex test.00 Reply

+1 yNo as it’s more than simply testosterone and I do wish people would move off this as the big thing.
Around where I am while we have tall women, guys are on the whole taller.

Yes agreed but imagine a female boxer going against a male boxer that had decided to transition.
It really is a hard call
+1 yI just learned this today but if a trans girl starts taking girl hormones before puberty she will not develop testosterone. In that case she should be allowed to play with his girls. Otherwise no.

+1 yI think yes. Women supported equality between all exes. They pushed for the same rights as men. Now their mad trans are seen as women… you don’t get to pick your laws and how their applied aka get your cake and eat it too. Look now. Women wanted to make more money. Now that they do they complain men don’t make enough to compare for dating and they complain about paying alimony. They push for inclusivity for women in the BOYS scouts but now that men want in women’s sports it’s unfair.
Sadly we’re probably in the same side of the isle. I don’t agree with trans women in women’s sports but ide rather see real equality then selective equality.00 Reply 5.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, men should not be competing in women's sports under any circumstances no matter how anyone tries to twist biological reality.

Asker+1 yI agree, its not a fair competition
+1 yIt's basically like competing against an athlete who's been on roids from the time they hit puberty and only just now cycled off in order to pass a drug test.
Just because his/her test levels are normal for a woman now, that doesn't mean he /she doesn't have a massive advantage for growing up male when his/her competitors did not.10 Reply12.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. They can't.
In professional female sports, testosterone is a banned substance and it's levels are heavily monitored.
Trans women have levels exceeding even the highest allowed, on merit of the fact they are men in female suits.
The case a few years back of hermaphrodites being banned from the sport still stands.00 ReplyYes abso-fucking-lutely. Contrary to that uneducated claim in the question about trans women having testosterone in their bodies, they're not out to fucking get you. They just wanna play a fucking sport, let them. Why are trans men never brought up either? It's entirely hypocritical to only talk about one side of this discussion just to increase the hate and discrimination against trans women.
17 Reply- +1 y
Sure they may not be doing this just to cheat and win, and they may genuinely be doing it for the love of the sport.
But if that's the case let them play with the rest of the athletes born with Y chromosomes.
Because whether you like it or not being born male gives you a massive advantage when it comes to athleticism.
Which is why no one cares about trans men playing with the boys. They know they're going to play with people who will naturally be bigger and stronger, and they choose to play anyway.
Asker+1 yWell they can play the sport on their own fucking team. I know they are not out to fucking get me. Trans man should have their own team too. They need their own sports association. And you obliviously don’t know about that mma fighter that cracked that cisgender woman’s skull. Or the two trans girls who ran track against cisgender girls and won the track meet. It’s not a fair competition. And you just don’t get it, and you will never get it. You are not a fucking woman.

Honey, you don't need to be a "woman" (from your behavior, you act more like a girl.) to understand this shit. You pick and choose your evidence. What about the CIS female fighters that constantly take down CIS men in the ring. If you know about this shit, you'd know fighting is paired with weight and strength, automatically cancelling out your idiotic and hypocritical argument.
Asker+1 yAnd you sound like a little ass boy still wet behind the ears you little shit. Please stay out of grown people business. Stay in a kids place. Don’t ever call me honey again with your disrespectful ass. Go back to sucking in your mommas titty! I got some muthafucking years on your ass. Have a nice fucking day little boy.
Asker+1 yAnd I see that you are a little fucking prick. Have a nice day

They are going to say it's not enough. Then you tell them. you don't got 10-12 trans on your school? They can play together or partner up with a neighbor school and have mini contest
- +1 y
We don't let the special Olympics compete with the normal Olympics
Asker+1 yhow is it not enough? they would have their own league and association. us women/girls got our own shit, men have their own shit, and trans men and women need their own shit.
- +1 y
They saying it's not enough people. Believe me I argued with these crazy people and that's their first go to.
Asker+1 ythat is crazy!! they should make it work with other schools.

I say the women who become men now like Ellen page. Should be on the same team with the katlin jenner. They are about even.
Man lady vs lady men. Lol
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI am being told that they are real women, no difference than cis gender women. If that is the position of most cis gender women and the government then my answer is yes. They can't be prevented from playing sports as women. The two go hand in hand. They are real women. End of story

Asker+1 ythere was a incident where a trans woman mma fighter cracked a cisgender womans skull. they need their own team. if I was a mma fighter, and I had to fight a trans woman... I would forfeit... I am not fight a 'woman' that use to be a man... no thanks
Opinion Owner+1 yI see your point but if I had to fight mike Tyson he could kill me so I stay out of the boxing ring even though we are both men. Just because these women are better athletes doesn't mean that they shouldn't compete with women. Are they really women? Then they should be able to compete/
Should whites and Asians have their own basketball league because the black players are dominant? We rarely see white basketball players in the NBA. THAT is what will become of female sports. You can't discriminate against them so you'll have to find peace with it like white men have with basketball
Asker+1 yI don't think that you see my point. that mma fighter use to be a man... she still has her manly ways. because biologically she is still a man. so I still wouldn't want to fight a trans woman. would you fight a transman? and mike Tyson has nothing to do what I said.
Opinion Owner+1 yI would fight a transman if I wanted to compete and I wasn't outmatched.
I am outmatched by mike tyson even though we are both men. How can you claim that is not the same thing. We are being told that trans women are the same as cis gender women it will soon be against the law for you to point out that they were born with male genethlia
Asker+1 ya tranwoman would outmatch me, I would get pumbled. trans women are stronger and faster. no thanks. I don't want to end up with a cracked skull. the fight wouldn't a fair fight. just like if I ran in a track meet against a trans woman, the race wouldn't be fair because 'she' is faster and stronger.
Opinion Owner+1 yI am sure that you are right but just like when black athletes joined male sports cis gender women will need to move over for them and the best athletes will win.
Asker+1 ycisgender women have the WNBA. why would we want to join the mens team when we have our own stuff. and for us black women, we have "black girls rock" that black trans women keep trying to join.
Opinion Owner+1 yThe cisgender WNBA players will have to accept transsexual women athletes. They dont have any choice. I didn't say anything about women joining mens teams
Asker+1 ythey need their own teams... trans associations
Opinion Owner+1 yThen so should the black men
Asker+1 ythen so be it. I am not a man. I still believe that trans men and women need their own team. and I will go tell my male counterparts to go start their own team.
Opinion Owner+1 ywhy are you calling them men? They are women now. Aren't they or am I not following you?
Asker+1 yYou said black men need their own team.. so I said that I am not a man…but I will tell my counterparts to start their own team..
It still stands that trans men and woman should have their own thing.
Opinion Owner+1 yIt is hard to keep all of this straight. Here is what we have agreed on so far
Negro Basketball League - Blacks Only
Mongoloid/Cracker Basketball Association - For Whites and Asians
Hispanics can be any color so they can join either league
WNBNA - CisGender Ladies of All Colors and Races
TWBA - Transgender women of all races and colors
Should we break up the "female" leagues further to give the whites and Asians an opportunity?
I agree with you completely. Due to their make up, it is entirely unfair for women to have to compete against them, and I will go so far as to say it is dangerous for the women because the trans person is much stronger and likely possesses the same aggressive tendencies as men, since they are biological males.

+1 yTrans girls take Anti Testosterone pills so it's a moot point. The research has been done by the Olympic commission and there are no differences in athletic performance between cis athletes and their trans counterparts, in both men and women.

What about the Trans MMA fighter that cracked the other woman's skull and beat her half to death practically?
Or the Trans deadlifter/powerlifter (can't exactly remember which) that absolutely smashed the women's record miles above anything an actual woman could achieve, is that fair?
It's hardly a moot point if there's still obviously a huge disadvantage to the actual woman in these sports
Asker+1 y@Nachowedgie I was just telling a guy at the bottom about the mma fighter. that fight was obliviously not a fair fight.
I did not know about the dead lifter. but I do know about the two trans girls that ran track and won against cisgender girls.- +1 y
I remember that too, really disheartening that those girls train so hard and just have all their hard work go to waste because the guys want to run in the easy race
Asker+1 y@Nachowedgie its not a fair game

In turn, estrogen plays a main regulatory role in bone metabolism in both women and men, acting on bone remodeling and keeping it within physiological limits. Estradiol acts on the lifespan of osteoblasts, decreasing apoptosis and increasing the functional capacity of individual osteoblasts. again, trans men are allowed to play in cis male sports. furthermore, does the name ''Sarah Fuller'' mean anything to you?
