I'm from Europe and honestly you don't need a gun there its illegal and unnecessary because its pretty hard to get one anyway why every American is getting a weapon like why are you scared that someone will break in and rob you? or?
There are two meat heads in Brunswick, GA awaiting trial for murder with no bond, that probably wish they did not have a gun that day in 2020. Citizens arrest and probably wish they would have let the cops handle the black guy instead. Most Americans are like little kids wanting to be gun slinger heroes like John Wayne. That God damn gun don;t make you bullet proof or prison proof. If they want to play gun slinger join the Army or Marines. They need gunslingers in Syria and Iraq. This 2nd Amendment bullshit and NRA shit is going to keep going till they run out school kids. There is no reason an average citizen needs an automatic assault rifle with a 15-30 round clip. I hope the Justice Dept. starts suing the arms/ammo makers and the NRA just like they did with the cigerette makers.
Hahaha... no , I'm pro 2nd amendment. I am former military police and local sheriff deputy. I carry on my current job working with local government and I carry off duty , am I paranoid No , I am prepared for anything that may come my way
I have had to work in dangerous areas because the rents are affordable. If I had be unarmed, I would not be sitting here. responding to this foolish statement.
So if someone is shooting you or stabbing you, are you going to just tell them "hold on, I'm calling the police" and just keep getting shot and stabbed until the police get there? You'll be dead, stupid.
Police aren't gonna be there when the crackhead living under the bridge down the street wakes up and chooses violence, therefore I carry a knife since I don't own a gun
@Pterodon now that's just straight up ignorant! There are plenty of crazy ass redneck criminals that live right here in America that would come for you! 🤭😂🤣
I don’t need a gun, I’ll agree with that part. I disagree that that’s what Police and Private Security are for. They are fingers of the government here to slap around poor people and keep people scared.
They’re not assault rifles. They’re just the next evolution of rifle. At first muskets were assault rifles then became common in homes. The same can be said of lever actions, bolt actions
My debate teacher a couple years ago pointed to the fact that when the First Amendment was written they didn't have semi-automatics. There were enough signers of the Constitution who, unlike Jefferson's Deism, believed they were the last generation before the return of Christ. So you may not be able to say they were acting on the realization that this technological advance would ever become an issue.
@Pterodon look I get you are an enthusiast of the 2nd amendment and all but it has always ever been about protecting yourself, your family and your property. Nobody needs military grade weaponry in their home. I would go as far as a semi-auto rifle but using bump stocks to make it fully auto is pretty immoral. If you want really want the ultimate home defense then just get a 12 guage.
If the police have military grade weaponry and criminals have military grade weaponry then you bet your sweet ass i am going to also have military grade weaponry
We have the right to bare arms to protect us from our government as much if not more than from other citizens. It was written to give the people a means to protect themselves from tyranny
We have guns to protect us from the very police and government that you speak about. The government gets out of line form militia and straighten it out.
Security systems provide delays and maybe early warning, but not protection. How many nightly news casts and police social media pages do you see with video frame grabs asking to help identify home and business invaders? Don't get me wrong, I think they're a good idea but they don't seem to deter home invaders or burglars that much anymore.
How much does that security system cost? It is cheap enough that a single mother of 2 can afford the installation and monthly costs? What if there’s a power outage?
At the cost of $150 and a$20 box of shells you can have a shotgun that don’t need power or much skill. Point and shoot and your hallway’s covered.
It certainly doesn't help, but kicking a door in isn't hard. Granted the invaders will likely be 3 scrawny little shits with a stolen gun, so it may take them a while to kick it in, but they'll get it and once they do, what will you do? Throw a piece of paper at them? Put your safety in their hands? NO! Protect yourself

I'm not giving up my 38 revolver.
I'm from Europe and honestly you don't need a gun there its illegal and unnecessary because its pretty hard to get one
anyway
why every American is getting a weapon like why are you scared that someone will break in and rob you? or?
Because we can own them and you can’t
no the problem is that civils shouldn't own a gun because in USA every person start shooting when they're offended or whatever
such a dumb country

Who are you to decide and they are semiautomatic
And they’re not clips they’re magazines. You’re really showing your ignorance

When seconds count, the police are minutes away.
So if someone is shooting you or stabbing you, are you going to just tell them "hold on, I'm calling the police" and just keep getting shot and stabbed until the police get there? You'll be dead, stupid.
Fyi I’m the staunchest second amendment supporter on here
haha sorry dude
I am planning on getting firearms because the fabric of our society is unravelling. I do not think the police can protect me and my family.
Police aren't gonna be there when the crackhead living under the bridge down the street wakes up and chooses violence, therefore I carry a knife since I don't own a gun
Relying entirely on others, whether it's private or government-funded security is insane.
Naw, i think it's weird when people think they need an arsenal to protect themselves.
Like bruh who you got comin for ya😂
Illegals that Biden is letting in
Gotcha paranoia.
News does make people paranoid with all its exaggeration.
It isn’t an exaggeration. I carry because I can
And yet you just said a fear of this imagined overtaking of illegals.
Or did you assume I'm a biden cult follower or a political party cult follower.
I don't follow politicians or parties blindly.
They see us as a vote an nothing else.
Anyone and everyone is coming for you, you don't know when it is but it's common fast!
@Pterodon now that's just straight up ignorant! There are plenty of crazy ass redneck criminals that live right here in America that would come for you! 🤭😂🤣
@Iknowbestgirls bring it including you

Sums it up nicely
I am against assault rifles. However, if people are allowed to have guns that are not designed to mow down a playground then they should.
They’re not assault rifles. They’re just the next evolution of rifle. At first muskets were assault rifles then became common in homes. The same can be said of lever actions, bolt actions

That’s not for us to decide what they were thinking. We can only go by what is written. I disagree with your teacher
I added the Eschatology thing. You don't know what was said. As for me, no girls allowed.

@Iknowbestgirls bump stocks are illegal now
@vald9inches is right!
@Jamie05rhs thanks! You would think its common sense and nothing immoral about it lol
@vald9inches Some people just don't think much. Or they believe their government is pure-hearted and benevolent.
We have the right to bare arms to protect us from our government as much if not more than from other citizens. It was written to give the people a means to protect themselves from tyranny
NO FUCKING WAY. I live in East Europe and believe it or not many of us still have guns. Not automatic guns but guns none the less.
if you can handle a gun its good to have one in your house to protect your family and we don't need a gun up on the roof of a tall building
We have guns to protect us from the very police and government that you speak about. The government gets out of line form militia and straighten it out.
Lmfao xD 😆😆 they've never helped me, only helped with the aftermath
in my opinion, a good security system, with an alarm and a surveillance camera can protect you from home invasions
Interesting, thanks for coming in let’s see what the people have to say
@Iron_Man okay lol
👍 The question asker is a good man

@SaoirseS Right 👍
@Ryfyle you're so rude
How much does that security system cost? It is cheap enough that a single mother of 2 can afford the installation and monthly costs? What if there’s a power outage?

@VanillaSalt you can’t take a security system with you either
And nowadays you can get raped and people won’t help you because your equal lmao.
It certainly doesn't help, but kicking a door in isn't hard. Check out my comment. It has a security system story.
I don't need a gun i will smack you in your damn face.
You do that. I’ll shoot you and we’ll see you lives
