Religious white people and conservatives have a long history serving our country with honor. But now our own government doesn’t believe in giving soldiers the choice to wear Bible verses around their necks. Instead our military is now more committed to the left wing agenda than protecting Americans from outside threats like China. They actively suppress the right to free speech and personal choice in regards to the vaccine mandates. The American military no longer represents American ideals. And so I can no longer support them. I genuinely feel bad for all the misguided people who are being conned into serving a country that actively hates white conservatives. Lincoln was right when he said America’s greatest threat is from within. Our own government is our biggest oppressor and it is time for American citizens to rise up like we did in 1776 by reclaiming our rights amidst this tyranny. I proudly wave the Confederate banner in rebellion because I seek to serve God not my Government’s interests. So f*ck the Government!

This isn't actually a new development, or at least the problem is an old one that has been allowed to fester for far too long.

The overwhelming majority of officers working at the Pentagon are little more than political stooges in uniform. They don't stand for really anything except their own personal gains, and that typically means either simping for contractors or some political agenda to try and elevate themselves. Upholding the constitution apolitically That has been the norm for decades, but Obama's culling of leadership who wouldn't pledge basically partisan support to him was pretty much a nail in the coffin and the military hasn't shown any real signs of reversing any of those trends ever since. Even when the US military is on a high note, it always has to learn lessons the hard way, and most of its current problems are too high up the chain to address regardless. Like clockwork, the stooges are filing in line to bow down to political whims like dogs eager for a treat and a pat on the head. They did this throughout pretty much the entire GWOT too, where they sent false reports of both successes overseas and unit readiness at home in order to make themselves (and the military as a whole) look better than it really was.

You could trace the bloated bureaucratic state of the US military leadership all the way back to WW1, though it wasn't really until the second world war where it exposed itself as a problem, and generally successful outcomes and blind patriotism have kept it ignored for a century.

How is pretending that your backwards interpretation of Christianity is the only one on this planet, religious freedom? Is it freedom to believe in your nutty definition of what it means to be a Christian, when your definition deletes the Founder of the Ideal. . . Jesus Christ?

The government is not a religious institution. It should not be the place where religious ideals are promoted. Because as you show with almost every post, your beliefs is that God is a political leader.

The state is neutral with respect to religion. This has always been what differentiated the US from European countries, where often a religion was that of a state, with the exception of France. I see more and more that those who betrayed the United States of the founding fathers are those who declare themselves patriots, as they are unable to understand other.
