- It makes me envious, but not angry. Look…if they’re going to create an artificial reality where we live off of ability to acquire currency rather than biological fitness for in-the-wild survival, then I say there’s not really many wrong ways to get said currency. The point of life should be to enjoy yourself, not to show off how good you are at working in whatever job you do, lmfao. I’m absolutely BAFFLED that anyone would want to watch someone else play video games. That was the worst part of gaming in a group when I was a kid and the max was two players at a time, waiting and watching someone else play, even if they were very good at the game. Like it’s entertaining for a few moments, but I can’t imagine watching someone play for an extended period of time. I suppose you can liken it to televised sports, but A) it’s just kind of different to watch physical feats of athleticism vs feats of hand-eye coordination transmitted electronically; and B) I even wonder myself lately why I devote that amount of time to watch other people play a game, and I’m an almost lifelong fan of several sports. I’ll be tuned in for both NFL conference championship games tomorrow, but I’m just sayin’😂 Or actually, wait, I won’t…I have my hockey instructional class/scrimmage tomorrow night, so I’ll have to catch one of them on DVR. So, case in point, I’d rather play my own sport (or video game) than watch someone else play, by a long margin. I’m sure there’s an educational component, I learn moves and techniques by watching pro athletes, I’d imagine gamers can learn things too. But I overall just can’t see myself consistently watching gamers, so it’s hard to relate to others who would. All that said, get that money. If you can monetize a recreational hobby, by all means, DO IT.Is this still revelant?

- If they are winning money and having fun I think its cool.
I only know one game that actually paid I have one tens of thousands of dollars I have one over 50 iPhones but I have never ever been paid so I don't think many people are getting paid there's a bingo game that I play and it is bad ass and you get paid right then and there and you can actually withdraw the money but this isn't like your grandma's bingo this thing is fast-paced and you have to be quick and smart but that's the only game that I know of that actually pays all the rest of them are fake at least the ones that I have playedIs this still revelant?

- Anonymous3 moNo, but how many people are actually making a livable income of at least 60k a year or more? If you’re not making that at least, forget it. That’s not an adult career. Is this still revelant?
The dollar amount does not matter. What matters is if you can be self-sufficient. In some places that can be achieved for less than 60k.

The successful ones can buy their own insurance if they want. As for 401k, not everyone needs or cares about that. Anyone can open an IRA and invest in the stock market. You sound like you are stuck in an older mindset where a 9-5 with certain benefits seems to be the way to success. There is more than one path to success and also what determines success is different for each person.
Being able to afford insurance, food, housing, transportation, and etc. is all you need you don’t need anything else
- I'd be glad for them especially if they're having fun while earning or vice versa. Is this still revelant?

1648- No way. If you can get someone to pay you for gaming, more power to you I say.
But I would add that what may seem like a dream job to one person may look very different to the one who actually does it.
I tried playing poker for a living because I was good enough to consistently make money off of it. But what I learned was I could make money but I wasn't good enough to earn enough consistently to live. And when it started being a business it ceased to be fun anyways. You see what I'm saying?
This why I'd never be jealous of professional gamers.ReactLike

- No but it is unfortunate we’ve so distorted our society that real things of value like labor work… retail… farming may not pay well and competition and acting do.
This we often tip well … pay for quality and fresh from farmer and limit money spend on sports and the junk products to promote them.ReactLike

- Why would that make someone angry? If someone gets angry at people for making money playing video games then that's a really butter person who needs to deal with their issues.
It's great that careers have expanded enough to let people do what they love and earn.ReactLike

- No. They are not breaking the law or doing anything immoral to get the money. Making and editing videos and then getting views is tougher than people think. If they put the effort into making their content in a legal and moral manner and it works for them then that is great.React

- The only thing that bothers me about that is the city and state political hacks came up with the slots machines/lotteries/video slot/whatevers to bring in an extra money stream to the coffers, and they always claim it will be for "education". Bravo Sierra! It never gets to the schools, unless it's to put litter boxes in the bathrooms, with most of it going to patronage jobs for the hacks' family members and/or paying off pensions that will never be paid off.React

- no because if i wasn't so lazy i could make money off them too, i jus never had the motivation to upload gameplay, and never had the confidence or bravery to talk on mic, so i only have myself to blame, if they wanted to make money off that so bad then fair game to them for their determination and motivationReact

- We live in a society of entertainment, working with it into a job is just logical. People make millions of dollars throwing synthetic-leather balls around and running into each other, yet no one finds that stupid or something to be angry about playing videogames that takes training as well, people will watch and gamble on that too... sooo... why so mad?React

- I only have so much energy! Not goanna waste of hating on others. A dumb black guy he’s extremely famous on YouTube by pointing at things. Doesn’t make sense. But it worked for him.
I’m goanna go my own thing and create my own path. There is enough abundance for all. God and universal law is put in place for everyone for a reason.
Jealously and hatred will disqualify those who are running after success.ReactLike

- Well, understand they only earn relative chump change, and they pay in (1) time spent and (2) sitting through advert after advert. In terms of the time value of money, it isn't even minimum wage arguably.React

- I mean, it's degenerated, but it's pretty similar to the notion of footballers kicking around a bag of air for a million £ per week.
Wouldn't you do it if you could? Let's face it, most of us are just wage slaves anyway. We're not doing something we actually believe in, usually.ReactLike

- It doesn't piss me off but how lucky are those very small percentage that do. I wish I had same passion. for games as I had for games when I was a kid. Now I think of streaming games but all games seems so boring.React

- It takes a ton of time and social skills to make much. Some of the earlier ones came out ok, the pro gamers do well. To most though, it's just a side Hussle.React
