Not all Muslims are the same and people should not treat them like they are.

All Muslims are potential dangers for civilization.

We should focus on Islam not Muslims. Islam's believes are toxic; it literally commands beheading heretics (it does). Spreading this belief should be inhibited culturally.

It doesn't exist. A phobia is an irrational fear of something, and Islam's fundamentalist and extremist members have shown it is dangerous, inside and outside the middle east.

When you have a student beheading a teacher over a rumor of them showing a picture of your prophet, when you massacre cartoonists for printing a picture of your prophet, when you kill your children for being westernized or being the victims of a rape, when you try and insist that other secular nations cater to you and let you handle your internal affairs in ways that are illegal, you have shown yourself to be a threat to outsiders.

Now am I saying all or even most Muslims are like that? No, of course not. Most are sensible and loving people. But when the extremists among you are the only voices we keep hearing, when we see you not fight back against them in unison, it doesn't look good.

All discriminatory -phobias (islamophobia, homophobia, etc) are conscious choices made by people who would rather hold harmful misinformation as truth versus taking the time to dismantle their biases.

Islamophobia is a choice. Homophobia is a choice.

Being a decent human with the capacity for logical respect and basic civility is a choice.

For anyone who wants to be a decent human, who wants to stand a chance at living in harmony and peace, these discriminatory phobias are not a choice. They're not something to aspire to or hold. They're something to dismantle through learning, understanding, and confronting.

I agree with you to some point (irrationality of prejudice in general); being homosexual/heterosexual is not a choice and there is nothing wrong with it, they don't hurt anyone; no one behead a fellow human for not being gay! So "Islamophobia" and Homophobia cannot be in the same category

There is no valid reason to choose to hate someone for their religion. You can hate the person, and disagree with their religion, but if you treat a Muslim differently simply because they are Muslim, that is a choice.

You can easily challenge and dismantle that bias by engaging with members of the Muslim community with respect in a bid to truly understand them.

The Muslim community is much like the Christian community. There are extremists who want to kill people, and then there's the grand majority of peaceful faithful practitioners.
