Shit we can't even get along with each other and have waged a war against intellect. So imagine meeting a being far superior to our own that we have to destroy it out of envy.
In most alien invasion films its always the americans that save the world. Independence day 2 film was so lame it ended up by the alien ai to put americans 1000 years ahead of technology to lead the intergalactic war.
I think we struggle everyday with something,. Getting along,. Paying bills, living life day to day, etc.. not ready for something like that. Probably the reason why they keep stuff like that secret.
We could do it , just have to counter the crazy ass christian right that would make devils out of them. you know, all that anti science stuff they like to bring up.
There are something like 100 billion known galaxies so chances are there is something more complex out there. Whether it is capable if space travel is another matter.
@zagor ehh, 4.5 billion years on this planet had nothing but bacteria. So its the default lifeform for all planets (that we are aware- which isn't much). So based on what we know, all the planets we know exist most likely only have bacteria.
The chances of advanced civilizations being around at the same time is insurmountable. Not impossible tho….

Christian, here... And completely ready to leave this dumpster fire of a rock in space, in hopes that extraterrestrial society is better.
Overgeneralize much?
let me rephrase. Evangelical Christian Nationalists or as i call them the Christian right
Im a landscaper i work with aliens all day every day
Is anyone ever ready to meet strangers? We're as ready as we can ever be.
I have often wondered if ETs came to Earth would they find intelligent life?
Who's to say they haven't already come, and left?
Tell me what you think about this video below on aliens and UFOS
https://www.bitchute.com/video/4BCvb4PA4xU0/
no lol look at how others acted when the pandemic started, hoarding toilet paper. pathetic, man...
They’ve been here already. I seen a ufo when I was traveling through the Nevada desert
oh thats just the airforce from area51 playing with their experimental aircrafts
Yeah no. What I saw was different. I actually scared me tbh
did it look like the TR3B Black Manta? (triangular black aircraft with shiny lights on each side)
No. Tbh is looked like a huge ass rainbow in the sky but it was night time so
Yes, I bet they would get their own reality show.
We are too fucking stupid as a species. Some fuckstick will piss off the aliens and they will fry our asses like chicken
The day they actually arrive in full force and let us know they're here for sure. I bet they will eradicate all of man kind.
Yeah I want to be the first man into space to fuck an alien. A humanoid hottie, not a Xenomorph type or some other bug or tentacle beast monster.
Everyone on earth no. Governments some yes. So unfortunately overall no.
we can't even handle different cultures of our own species. so no.
We’re not ready to meet the bacteria out there.
Bacteria is most probably the only aliens out there.

Until we can learn to stop killing each other, that answer is a hard no. We as a human species are far too animalistic.
Nope. Far from it. I doubt that it will be ready even in the next 500 years.
They're probably already here, either bewildered or laughing at us.
