Fat people are fat no matter their gender.
Just because you change the terminology doesn't mean you alter reality.
Instead of wasting time telling people it's misogynistic or whatever how about telling those who are far that they are kocking on death's door and need to make change.
It's not normal. It's not a "choice". It's not a genetic disorder...
Anyone can lose weight and get in shape and everyone should be made aware of the benefits and doing so and the dangers of not doing it.

Fat shaming exists because its disgusting and unhealthy to be fat. Obviously, if you want to be kind and helpful about it, you just help the person lose weight instead of simply insulting them or calling them names.
Being morbidly obese will literally affect you forever, even after you lose the weight. It could shorten your life by more than a decade if you're obese, plus it just harms your health in literally every way possible.
It's not sexist to call someone chubby, chubby is even the nice way of saying "you're overweight". I wish "feminists" like Katie Edward stopped getting offended over every minor thing and started talking about serious issues like how women are literally getting sold and killed because of their gender. How domestic violence and female genital mutilation is normalized in some parts of the world. Don't even start on the men's issues, there's plenty.
What? It maybe medically correct or used to be insulting but it has nothing to do with misogyny. That's like going to your doctor and they have to break the new to you that you're clinically obese and you look them dead and the face tell them their being misogynistic. If you don't feel dumb after thinking or saying something like that then you really need to have your brain checked.
No, because men can be rich fat and happy. Fat dudes can still get bitches and hoes despite their appearance. Fat women are disgusting and most basic women are basic women. The only thing a basic woman has to offer is their body and sex.
A high value woman with meaning and purpose in her life who high value men are attracted to can get a man even though she's not a super model. But the majority of women are basic women who don't have anything to offer a man other than their bodies and they're just unlovable.
So yes it very mean to call a plus sized woman Fat because you are making her understand reality and not keeping her in a Disney fantasy world or romantic comedy where she changes her derelict boyfriend into an outstanding gentle men.

Here's something: it's not the same for men and women. To call a man fat may be insulting but there are worse things.
But to call woman fast is cutting close to the core. It's not the body shape you're calling into question, it's her desirability. Perhaps you're implying her standing in the community, her ability to find a mate. And that stuff is the way women keep the pecking order, not men.
Having said that: Chubby. Doesn't sound the same as fat to me. But I guess it's down to how mean spirited the person saying it is.
It's not misogynistic at all. But its rude. Its equally rude for a woman to call a man fat like it is for a man to call a woman fat.
For it to be misogynostic it would have to be something that is directed to women specifically and anyone can be fat.
Idc what you call it but stating the obvious and putting a name to it is worse! Growing up, I got fat shamed over and over, it hurts so just stop it! Same thing with skinny people!
Yes, to answer your question.
I just think it's a cheap shot to say that to someone at all, very rude, and potentially very damaging to someone's mental health and body image.
I've been in recovery for 11 years from an eating disorder by the way.Is it misogynistic/misandristic to call a woman/man "fat"?
No, I don't think so.
Is it immature?
Usually yes. (*)
Is it smart?
Definitely not. (*)
(*) Unless it is being said in a formal professional situation like a doctor's office.I'd be willing to bet that this woman's standards for objective observations are very one-sided.
I have no idea who Tilley is, but after a quick Google search, "chubby" is pretty accurate even though it often gets used as a softer way of pointing out more egregious examples of obesity.
Because society is anti-male these days. But the media refuses to say that because feminists / misandrists brainwashed and took control over the sectors in law and pc culture. I don't follow the rules. If she call me skinny, I will call her fat. Fair is fair.
If you're fat, you're fat. It's not sexist, it is just fat.
It's rude and so out of line.. either way people should mind there business .. its nothing to do with anyone how someone looks and no one is that superior to think it's OK to have an opinion on anyone's appearance... no ones perfect there for no one has any right to pass comment... just saying...
I mean look at that "influencer" who was crying she could not ride a horse because she was considered to over weight to do it? She cried they should let her break that horses back anyway? So if we have someone whose living in a pure delusional state if denial the best word to call her is "FAT" what else could you say, she doesn't get it either way.
Katie Edwards, can you kindly shut the fuck up and do something useful with your life other than being a period-blood covered shitstain of a human being? How's that for acerbic?
She has a message. About how its sexist to call this one woman chubby. But it's only directed at men. Are there no women who say she's chubby? Or is it only sexist when a man says it? Or is she just looking for another reason to say "men bad"?
No, men are these days the lowest class but women for the most part don't have the balls to kill us so they are goading us into killing ourselves to save them doing it but the few who can kill us are getting ready for their world takeover so they can imprison and execute all men as part of the KAM movement (kill all men)
It is not MISanything to have an open opinion about a Subject !! All they are trying to do is to get you to curb your speech and behavior into a meek sheep who can not think for himself !!
I don’t think it’s misogynistic to call a woman fat in the first place. I don’t really see how gender plays a role in this because either way, it’s body shaming and fatphobic. In the end, it shouldn’t be said.
I know you’re being sarcastic but tbh yes it would be. There’s no reason to be rude.
''Fat'' is the description of a physical feature.
I know fat people that I get along with well.
I quote an ex girlfriend (we are still in touch): ''I'm fat, but I'm cute''
I think that sometimes when you are what you are and people overstate it then it kinda becomes spam. Yes i'm white but if i hear it all day everyday then it is psychological abuse at some point.
Calling a woman "fat" isn't inherently misogynistic, obviously. But USUALLY when a guy insults a woman by calling her "fat", there's some type of misogynistic motivation behind it.
Also, bothsidesism is silly.
