Material things are used to define your status etc. Intellectual status is sided most of the times.
I mean, why? What people try to see through all this and what people try to prove through all this?

Well if it wasn’t, we would all be spirits or just be the metaverse before the metaverse….
lmfao
In all honesty. The early humans had materials and needed materials to live- food/ water.
Then defense.
Shelter, of course.
Later, when they weren’t surviving, or taking up days to just make butter… lol
They learned about arts, and science.
Then they made sparring a sort of art. (Eventually war).
Games and comedy.
Theater.
Record keepers to mark history and time
Exploration with geography,
and then they *saw other people* ✨
more in all those areas-
humanity. ✨
Then.. some brat had to create the cellphone, and ‘corrupt people’ had to get into government, and mess with that stupid thing called supply and demand,
and the vicious cycles throw us into an intangible hamster wheel,
and so, we get tired, never heal from past hurts, at times
and so, we don’t really see other people like before..
It can change.
People can be different.
It all depends on them.
Your answer is like the history summarized in the most concise manner I have ever seen. Amazing job.😃👏👏
I think industrialization itself should not have started, but that started with coal, which got created due to the remains of ancient animals. And we simply cannot control that lol.
Its as if, the nature itself was hell bent on creating us as we are today. But we can also think for ourselves, hence nature plays little to no part in it.
Oh, for sure. I said phones and government, but really before, I have said as you have mentioned: industrialization
It was the introduction of currency, the deportation from proper/ reasonable/proportional use, of natural resources, as needed- not wanted (indulging obese people/ hoarding/storing wealthy people, who buy in “bulk,” whatever the flurk that is, lmao.
Industrialization was our downfall. (in my opinion). The native Americans respected nature. The tribes back in the day, of all or most peoples, were very communal.
Their only real issue was fighting each other with simple tools, whenever they had a disagreement, and they couldn’t just discuss and come up with a solution.
They fought back then, when issues arose,
And a little later they fought because corrupted men wanted to rule the world, and spread one kind of genes 🧬 and name throughout, which is dumb….
So if we didn’t have those acts of violence, and fine tuned our creativity, naturally, I think we could’ve been better off.
I think we would’ve made our way to modern technologies, eventually, just without the systems we have in place, today.
Not just the U. S., but globally.
It’s a tricky thing, but even now, still, betterment is possible.
Thanks for the compliment, as well 😃 I do my best to look at the big pictures and simplify it, but I tweaked with my butter joke, technically speaking.
Thanks again, though!
Appreciate your question and kind, logical response 😁👌
Thanks!
Industrialisation surely impacted our world beyond anyone's imagination.
The want for the power is something humans really want, but even cannot handle that too.
I mean, people literally destroy each other, relationships, themselves in the pursuit of so called power. And those who attain it, truly, cannot use it enough, or or become blinded by it.
Its quite problematic to have a Government it seems. And by extension, the society itself.
Because somebody will definitely hold the charge for a society.
I really think that earlier, like wayyyy earlier, life of people was harsh, but not in the way our's is. It was simple, not complicated as our's is.
It's the same instinct that lets squirrels collect acorns
I did not get the reference. Tell about it a bit more? Please?
because the world is capitalistic... that's what you call consumerism
and then it just happens to be that the people that are like that are more noticeable and looked at too... but is not everyone like that, not the entire world
I'm not materialistic myself... are you one of them?
Nope, I am not one of them.
Because people require a moderate level of material wealth to be safe and happy?
