What would you do if you kept on being the victim of a crime and police were unable or unwilling to do anything to stop it?

I think we've all been there for the one off's, but I am strictly referring to repeated offenses, over and over.

Don't get me wrong, I support blue and Blue lives matter but where I live is very rural and a police response is often 90 mins or more out.

What would you do if you kept on being the victim of a crime and police were unable or unwilling to do anything to stop it?

Due to being rural and a long time to get a response, what do you do in the meantime?

Obviously for life threatening issues you can defend yourself with lethal force.

What if however, it is something such as bunch of teens who trespass, vandalize your property, break down fences that allow the cattle to get out on to the state highway.

Which if they get hit by a car at that point, you as the owner of the animal is responsible for repairs to the car and injuries to the driver.

You've called the police dozens of times but the trespassers are long since gone before they ever get there. You know WHO they are but they claim they have to catch them in the act as you've confronted them trespassing and they tell you to f off.

When questioned by police, they deny ever trespassing and nothing is ever done.

What would you do after spending thousands on repairs from vandalism, potentially tens of thousands from a cow vs. car accident.

When the law fails or is unable to do anything about any kind of situation where we are taught over and over, to let the law handle it but it utter (udderly 🤣) fails, what would you do to put a stop to it?

You can use my example or one of your own if you've been in this kind of situation, I put this out there because it happened to my parents when I was a young teen. Although there have been other situations for me personally too.

For those using my example, camera's aren't an option. There is no way to put up camera's to cover 400 + acres, still be useful and affordable.

If it is your house, that would work great.
