Do you find it annoying when the media tries to pit candidates against each other?

I was watching clip that featured Chuck Todd from Meet The Press interviewing presidential candidate Doug Burgum, who's governor of North Dakota and pressuring him to make a statement about Donald Trump and the indictments ๐Ÿ™„. Now I'm a moderate democrat but I've considered voting Republican or even third party in various political races. I am from North Dakota and though I don't agree with Doug Burgum's antiabortion stance he's indicated that he thinks it issue should be left to the states which I could get behind in a presidential candidate.

The video below though really irritated me, why make a candidate say anything one way or another about another candidates legal trouble, even if it is Trump. Chuck Todd even annoying acts angry that Doug Burgum won't irresponsibly declare Trump guilty or indicate if he'd pardon him.

I think Doug Burgum handled this perfectly and showed how intelligent he is, I will be rooting for him to rule that debate stage on Wednesday.

P. S. I hate to post this anon but politics have become so divisive these days.
